    Simple Binary Encoding (SBE)

    Simple Binary Encoding (SBE)

Simple Binary Encoding (SBE) - High Performance Message Codec

SBE is an OSI layer 6 presentation for encoding and decoding binary application messages for low-latency financial applications. This repository contains the reference implementations in Java, C++, Golang, C#, and Rust. More details on the design and usage of SBE can be found on the Wiki. An XSD for SBE specs can be found here. Please address questions about the specification to the SBE FIX community. For the latest version information and changes see the Change Log with downloads at Maven Central. The Java and C++ SBE implementations work very efficiently with the Aeron messaging system for low-latency and high-throughput communications. The Java SBE implementation has a dependency on Agrona for its buffer implementations.

    SimpleCov

    SimpleCov

Code coverage for Ruby with a powerful configuration library

Code coverage for Ruby with a powerful configuration library and automatic merging of coverage across test suites. SimpleCov is a code coverage analysis tool for Ruby. It uses Ruby's built-in Coverage library to gather code coverage data, but makes processing its results much easier by providing a clean API to filter, group, merge, format, and display those results, giving you a complete code coverage suite that can be set up with just a couple lines of code. SimpleCov/Coverage track covered ruby code, gathering coverage for common templating solutions like erb, slim and haml is not supported. In most cases, you'll want overall coverage results for your projects, including all types of tests, Cucumber features, etc. SimpleCov automatically takes care of this by caching and merging results when generating reports, so your report actually includes coverage across your test suites and thereby gives you a better picture of blank spots.

    The SimpleLogin back-end

With email aliases, you can be anonymous online and protect your inbox against spams and phishing. Open-source. Made and hosted in Europe. Receive and send emails anonymously. Next time a website asks for your email address, give an alias instead of your real email. Emails sent to an alias are instantly forwarded to your inbox without the sender knowing anything. Just hit "Reply" if you want to reply to a forwarded email: the reply is sent from your alias and your real email stays hidden. You can also easily send emails from your alias. Quickly create an alias on the go. Sign up for a newsletter, create a new online account with a click. Built upon open-source technology, all SimpleLogin components are also open-source. Not only can an alias receive emails, it can also send emails. An alias is a full-fledged email address. Manage your aliases on SimpleLogin website or on our Chrome, Firefox, Safari extensions.

    Smaller C

    Smaller C

    Simple C compiler

Smaller C is a simple and small single-pass C compiler, currently supporting most of the C language common between C89/ANSI C and C99 (minus some C89 and plus some C99 features). Currently, it generates 16-bit and 32-bit 80386+ assembly code for NASM that can then be assembled and linked into DOS, Windows, Linux and Mac OS X programs. (You may use YASM or FASM instead of NASM) Code generation for MIPS CPUs is also supported (primarily for RetroBSD). The compiler is capable of compiling itself. The core compiler comes with a preprocessor (ucpp), a linker, and a compiler driver (the driver invokes the preprocessor, the core compiler, the assembler, and the linker and supports options similar to those of gcc).

    Solid

    Solid

A declarative JavaScript library for building user interfaces

Solid is a declarative JavaScript library for creating user interfaces. Instead of using a Virtual DOM, it compiles its templates to real DOM nodes and updates them with fine-grained reactions. Declare your state and use it throughout your app, and when a piece of state changes, only the code that depends on it will rerun. Check out our intro video or read on! Fine-grained updates to the real DOM. Declarative data: model your state as a system with reactive primitives. Render-once mental model: your components are regular JavaScript functions that run once to set up your view. Automatic dependency tracking: accessing your reactive state subscribes to it. Small and fast. Simple: learn a few powerful concepts that can be reused, combined, and built on top of. Provides modern framework features like JSX, fragments, Context, Portals, Suspense, streaming SSR, progressive hydration, Error Boundaries and concurrent rendering.

    SpinalHDL

    SpinalHDL

    Scala based HDL

SpinalHDL is a hardware description (HDL) framework embedded in Scala, enabling hardware designers to build digital circuits with modern programming abstractions. Instead of writing in Verilog or VHDL directly, users describe hardware components and their interconnects using Scala code and Spinal’s domain-specific library, which then emits synthesizable hardware (e.g. as Verilog). Because SpinalHDL is embedded in Scala, it allows reuse of functional abstractions, parameterization, modular composition, and higher-level constructs to manage complexity. It supports building systems at various levels—single modules, pipelines, memories, controllers, etc.—while letting the designer control timing, pipelining, and resource sharing explicitly. The generated hardware can be synthesized for FPGAs or ASIC flows, making it practical for real designs.

    Spots

    Spots

Spots is a cross-platform view controller framework

Spots is a cross-platform view controller framework for building component-based UIs. The internal architecture is built using generic view models that can be transformed both to and from JSON. So, moving your UI declaration to a backend is as easy as pie. Data source and delegate setup is handled by Spots, so there is no need for you to do that manually. The public API is jam-packed with convenience methods for performing mutation, it is as easy as working with a regular collection type. At the top level of Spots, you have the SpotsController which is the replacement for your view controller.

    Squire

A library of static Eloquent models for common fixture data

Squire is a library of static Eloquent models for fixture data that is commonly needed in web applications, such as countries, currencies, and airports. It's based on the concepts of Caleb Porzio's Sushi package. Squire includes a validation rule for each model installed in your app. These allow you to easily validate user input to ensure that it matches a record in a specific model. Squire may not always have a model available for the information you require. In this case, you may want to create your own.

Tool for scaffolding batteries-included production-level Haskell

Summoner is a tool for scaffolding fully configured batteries-included production-level Haskell projects. Do you want to create a library that is to be uploaded to Hackage/Stackage, that builds with both Cabal and Stack and supports the latest three major GHC versions? Or are you building a production application that uses a custom prelude and has CI with GitHub Actions or Travis Linux and AppVeyors Windows checks? Maybe do you want to play with your idea in a single module without introducing the whole complexity of the Haskell projects. Summoner can help you do all that with minimal effort from you - it can even upload the project to GitHub if you wish! By the way, Summoner operates as either CLI or TUI application, so you can choose what you are more comfortable with and install only the required one.

    Swift Cross UI

    Swift Cross UI

A cross-platform declarative UI framework, inspired by SwiftUI

SwiftCrossUI implements a simple API similar but not identical to SwiftUI, allowing you to use the basic concepts of SwiftUI to create a cross-platform desktop app. SwiftCrossUI is designed to be flexible and can work with different backends, but has a focus on using GTK+ through SwiftGTK. Create cross-platform desktop apps for macOS, Linux and Windows. Work has been started to support multiple different backends. Switching backends only requires changing a single line of code! Currently there's the Gtk 4 backend, as well as an experimental AppKit backend (AppKitBackend, macOS-only). All examples use GtkBackend for maximum compatibility, but you can update them manually to try out the various available backends. Work is being done to allow the backend used by the examples to be changed from the command line.

    SymbolicUtils.jl

    SymbolicUtils.jl

    Symbolic expressions, rewriting and simplification

SymbolicUtils is a practical symbolic programming utility in Julia. It lets you create, rewrite and simplify symbolic expressions, and generate Julia code from them. SymbolicUtils.jl provides various utilities for symbolic computing. SymbolicUtils.jl is what one would use to build a Computer Algebra System (CAS). If you're looking for a complete CAS, similar to SymPy or Mathematica, see Symbolics.jl. If you want to build a crazy CAS for your weird Octonian algebras, you've come to the right place. Symbols in SymbolicUtils carry type information. Operations on them propagate this information. A rule-based rewriting language can be used to find subexpressions that satisfy arbitrary conditions and apply arbitrary transformations on the matches. The library also contains a set of useful simplification rules for expressions of numeric symbols and numbers. These can be remixed and extended for special purposes.

    System.IO.Abstractions

    System.IO.Abstractions

Just like System.Web.Abstractions, but for System.IO. Yay for testable

At the core of the library is IFileSystem and FileSystem. Instead of calling methods like File.ReadAllText directly, use IFileSystem.File.ReadAllText. We have exactly the same API, except that ours is injectable and testable. The library also ships with a series of test helpers to save you from having to mock out every call, for basic scenarios. They are not a complete copy of a real-life file system, but they'll get you most of the way there. We even support casting from the .NET Framework's untestable types to our testable wrappers. Since version 4.0 the top-level APIs expose interfaces instead of abstract base classes (these still exist, though), allowing you to completely mock the file system.

    Talisman

    Talisman

    Talisman validates the outgoing changeset

Talisman is a tool that installs a hook to your repository to ensure that potential secrets or sensitive information do not leave the developer's workstation. It validates the outgoing changeset for things that look suspicious - such as potential SSH keys, authorization tokens, private keys etc. Talisman can also be used as a repository history scanner to detect secrets that have already been checked in, so that you can take an informed decision to safeguard secrets. We recommend installing Talisman as a pre-commit git hook template, as that will cause Talisman to be present, not only in your existing git repositories, but also in any new repository that you 'init' or 'clone'. Installation of Talisman globally does not clobber pre-existing hooks on repositories. If the installation script finds any existing hooks, it will only indicate so on the console. After the installation is successful, Talisman will run checks for obvious secrets automatically before each commit or push.
