    Celery

    Celery

    Distributed task queue (development branch)

Celery is a simple, flexible, and reliable distributed system to process vast amounts of messages, while providing operations with the tools required to maintain such a system. It’s a task queue with focus on real-time processing, while also supporting task scheduling. Celery has a large and diverse community of users and contributors, you should come join us on IRC or our mailing-list. Celery is Open Source and licensed under the BSD License. A task queue’s input is a unit of work called a task. Dedicated worker processes constantly monitor task queues for new work to perform. Celery communicates via messages, usually using a broker to mediate between clients and workers. To initiate a task the client adds a message to the queue, the broker then delivers that message to a worker. A Celery system can consist of multiple workers and brokers, giving way to high availability and horizontal scaling. Celery is written in Python, but the protocol can be implemented in any language.

    Chroma

    Chroma

A general purpose syntax highlighter in pure Go

As Chroma has just been released, its API is still in flux. That said, the high-level interface should not change significantly. Chroma takes source code and other structured text and converts it into syntax-highlighted HTML, ANSI-coloured text, etc. Chroma is based heavily on Pygments and includes translators for Pygments lexers and styles. ABAP, ABNF, ActionScript, ActionScript 3, Ada, Angular2, ANTLR, ApacheConf, APL, AppleScript, Arduino, Awk. PacmanConf, Perl, PHP, PHTML, Pig, PkgConfig, PL/pgSQL, plaintext, Pony, PostgreSQL SQL dialect, PostScript, POVRay, PowerShell, Prolog, PromQL, Properties, Protocol Buffer, PSL, Puppet, Python 2, Python. Lexers convert source text into a stream of tokens, styles specify how token types are mapped to colours, and formatters convert tokens and styles into formatted output. A package exists for each of these, containing a global Registry variable with all of the registered implementations.

    Concourse

    Concourse

Concourse is a container-based continuous thing-doer written in Go

Built on the simple mechanics of resources, tasks, and jobs, Concourse presents a general approach to automation that makes it great for CI/CD. Concourse is designed to be expressive, versatile, and safe, remaining intuitive as the complexity of your project grows. A Concourse pipeline is like a distributed, continuous Makefile. Each job has a build plan declaring the job's input resources and what to run with them when they change. Your pipeline is then visualized in the web UI, taking only one click to get from a failed job to seeing why it failed. The visualization provides a "gut check" feedback loop: if it looks wrong, it probably is wrong. Jobs can depend on other jobs by configuring passed constraints. The resulting chain of jobs and resources is a dependency graph that continuously pushes your project forward, from source code to production.

    Expat

    Expat

Fast streaming XML parser written in C99 with >90% test coverage

Welcome to Expat, a stream-oriented XML parser library written in C. Expat excels with files too large to fit RAM, and where performance and flexibility are crucial. There are a number of applications, libraries, and hardware using Expat, as well as bindings and 3rd-party wrappers. Expat is packaged everywhere. This is Expat, a C99 library for parsing XML 1.0 Fourth Edition, started by James Clark in 1997. Expat is a stream-oriented XML parser. This means that you register handlers with the parser before starting the parse. These handlers are called when the parser discovers the associated structures in the document being parsed. A start tag is an example of the kind of structure for which you may register handlers.

    Faiss

    Faiss

Library for efficient similarity search and clustering dense vectors

Faiss is a library for efficient similarity search and clustering of dense vectors. It contains algorithms that search in sets of vectors of any size, up to ones that possibly do not fit in RAM. It also contains supporting code for evaluation and parameter tuning. Faiss is written in C++ with complete wrappers for Python/numpy. Some of the most useful algorithms are implemented on the GPU. It is developed by Facebook AI Research. Faiss contains several methods for similarity search. It assumes that the instances are represented as vectors and are identified by an integer, and that the vectors can be compared with L2 (Euclidean) distances or dot products. Vectors that are similar to a query vector are those that have the lowest L2 distance or the highest dot product with the query vector. It also supports cosine similarity, since this is a dot product on normalized vectors.

    Filament

    Filament

Real-time physically based rendering engine for Android, iOS, and more

Filament is a real-time physically-based renderer written in C++. It is mobile-first, but also multi-platform. We are very conscientious about keeping Filament small, fast to load, and focused on rendering. For example, Filament does not compile materials at run time. Instead, we provide a command line tool (matc) that does this offline. Filament is a physically based rendering (PBR) engine for Android. The goal of Filament is to offer a set of tools and APIs for Android developers that will enable them to create high quality 2D and 3D rendering with ease. For both artists and developers, our system will rely on as few parameters as possible to reduce trial and error and allow users to quickly master the material model. A physically based approach must not preclude non-realistic rendering. User interfaces for instance will need unlit materials. Our primary goal is to design and implement a rendering system able to perform efficiently on mobile platforms.

    Gradio

    Gradio

Create UIs for your machine learning model in Python in 3 minutes

Gradio is the fastest way to demo your machine learning model with a friendly web interface so that anyone can use it, anywhere! Gradio can be installed with pip. Creating a Gradio interface only requires adding a couple lines of code to your project. You can choose from a variety of interface types to interface your function. Gradio can be embedded in Python notebooks or presented as a webpage. A Gradio interface can automatically generate a public link you can share with colleagues that lets them interact with the model on your computer remotely from their own devices. Once you've created an interface, you can permanently host it on Hugging Face. Hugging Face Spaces will host the interface on its servers and provide you with a link you can share. One of the best ways to share your machine learning model, API, or data science workflow with others is to create an interactive demo that allows your users or colleagues to try out the demo in their browsers.
