Pylint

Pylint is a static code analyzer for Python 2 or 3. The latest version supports Python 3.7.2 and above. Pylint analyses your code without actually running it. It checks for errors, enforces a coding standard, looks for code smells, and can make suggestions about how the code could be refactored. Projects that you might want to use alongside pylint include flake8 (faster and simpler checks with very few false positives), mypy, pyright or pyre (typing checks), bandit (security-oriented checks), black and isort (auto-formatting), autoflake (automated removal of unused import or variable), pyupgrade (automated upgrade to newer python syntax) and pydocstringformatter (automated pep257). Pylint isn't smarter than you: it may warn you about things that you have conscientiously done or checks for some things that you don't care about. During adoption, especially in a legacy project where pylint was never enforced. -

Scoop Installer
A command-line installer for Windows
Scoop is a command-line installer for Windows. If you have built software that you would like others to use, Scoop is an alternative to building an installer (like MSI or InnoSetup). You just need to compress your app to a .zip file and provide a JSON manifest that describes how to install it. Scoop downloads and manages packages in a portable way, keeping them neatly isolated in ~\scoop. It won't install files outside its home, and you can place a Scoop installation wherever you like. For terminal applications, Scoop creates shims, a kind of command-line shortcut, inside the ~\scoop\shims folder, which is accessible in the PATH. For graphical applications, Scoop creates program shortcuts in a dedicated Start menu folder, called 'Scoop Apps'. This way, packages are always cleanly uninstalled and you can be sure what tools are currently in your PATH and in your Start menu. -

It integrates specialized transforms for font tables (like glyf/loca and variations data) with Brotli compression to squeeze out as many bytes as possible while preserving exact font fidelity on decode. Manim was originally created by Grant Sanderson as a personal project and for use in his YouTube channel, 3Blue1Brown. As his channel gained popularity, many grew to like the style of his animations and wanted to use manim for their own projects. However, as manim was only intended for personal use, it was very difficult for other users to install and use it. Manim, or ManimCE refers to the community-maintained version of the library. This is the version documented on this website; the package name on PyPI is manim. ManimGL is the latest released version of the library developed by Grant “3b1b” Sanderson. It has more experimental features and breaking changes between versions are not documented. -

If you encounter a problem updating, simply delete or uninstall the app and re-download the latest. Note that Appium Desktop is not the same thing as Appium. Appium Desktop is a graphical frontend to Appium with additional tools. Appium Desktop is released on its own cadence and has its own versioning system. If you are reporting an issue with Appium Desktop, always be sure to include both the version of Appium Desktop and the version of the Appium Server which is in use. -
