    Linguistic Tree Constructor

    Linguistic Tree Constructor

Syntax tree editor for rapid annotation of existing text

Linguistic Tree Constructor (LTC) is a tool for drawing lingusitic syntax trees of already-existing text. It is a syntax editor, not a text editor, so the text has to exist already. It is best suited for large-scale, rapid creation of hand-annotated treebanks. The user can define their own node categories, and can label each node with labels, also definable by the user. LTC supports "generic", X-Bar and RRG trees. Supports interlinear texts in SIL SFM format.

    LTEX LS

    LTEX LS

LTeX Language Server: LSP language server for LanguageTool

LTEX LS (LTEX Language Server) implements a language server according to the Language Server Protocol (LSP) and provides grammar and spelling errors in markup documents (LATEX, Markdown, etc.). The documents are checked with LanguageTool. Typically, you start the language server (either locally or remotely), you send the language server your LATEX or Markdown document, and it will respond with a list of the grammar and spelling errors in it. To use LTEX LS in this way, you have to use a language client (usually an editor or an extension of the editor) that communicates with LTEX LS according to the LSP. ...

krangl is a {K}otlin DSL for data w{rangl}ing

krangl is a {K}otlin library for data w{rangl}ing. Implementing a grammar of data manipulation using a modern functional-style API, allows filtering, transforming, aggregating, and reshaping tabular data. krangl is heavily inspired by the amazing dplyr for R. krangl is written in Kotlin, excels in Kotlin, but emphasizes as well on good java-interop. It is mimicking the API of dplyr, while carefully adding more typed constructs where possible.

    JSON Parser

    JSON Parser

JSON Parser written in C that outputs JSON into D-List list objects

...The JSON data is returned to the caller as a set of hierarchical D-List list objects, that make the data very easy to manage, sort, search or use, and easy to remove when done. Package includes a JSON textural generator which will create JSON grammar data blocks from hierarchical D-List representations of JSON data. The package also includes a variety of support functions to allow C code to easily find, add, and modify JSON values and members in D-List hierarchical structures.

    Instaparse

    Instaparse

Instaparse aims to be the simplest way to build parsers in Clojure

Instaparse is a simple yet powerful parser generator for Clojure and ClojureScript that turns grammars written in EBNF or ABNF into executable parsers, with support for left recursion, ambiguous grammars, PEG-like lookahead, and various output formats. Instaparse supports most of the common notations for context-free grammars. For example, a popular alternative to * is to surround the term with curly braces {}, and a popular alternative to ? is to surround the term with square brackets []....

LR Parser and Lexer Generators: Fortran

LR parser generator and lexer generator for use in Fortran

The generator for LR parsers uses Pager's method, augmented with Tom Pennello's Forward Move Algorithm for error recovery. The grammar specifies identifiers for nodes in the abstract syntax tree, and the identifiers for tokens. It generates Fortran declarations for tree node identifiers and named constants that represent the PDA. The lexer generator accepts regular expressions and generates a DFA. It generates Fortran declarations for character classes, recognized objects, named constants that represent the DFA. ...

From PEG to a practical parser

Transcribe Parsing Expression Grammar into a parser written in Java.

Tool to transcribe Parsing Expression Grammar into a parser written in Java. Parsing Expression Grammar (PEG) is a way to specify recursive-descent parsers with limited backtracking. The use of backtracking lifts the LL(1) restriction usually imposed by top-down parsers. In addition, PEG can define parsers with integrated lexing. Unlike some existing parser generators for PEG, the tool does not produce a complex and storage-hungry "packrat parser", but a collection of transparent recursive procedures. ...

    Semantic

Parsing, analyzing, and comparing source code across many languages

semantic is a Haskell library and command line tool for parsing, analyzing, and comparing source code. Run semantic --help for complete list of up-to-date options. Semantic uses tree-sitter to generate parse trees, but layers in a more generalized notion of syntax terms across all supported programming languages. We'll see why this is important when we get to diffs and program analysis, but for now let's just inspect some output. It helps to have a simple program to parse. Symbols are named...

    Project Fluent

    Project Fluent

Fluent — planning, spec and documentation

...FTL stands for Fluent Translation List. The syntax/ directory contains the reference implementation of the syntax as a LL(infinity) parser. The spec/ directory contains the formal EBNF grammar, autogenerated from the reference implementation. Software localization has been dominated by an outdated paradigm: translations that map one-to-one to the English copy. The grammar of the source language imposes limits on the expressiveness of the translation. We created Fluent to change this paradigm. Translators should be able to use the entire expressive power of their language without asking developers for permission. ...

    pegplusplus

A PEG parser library for C++

This library implements PEG (Parsing Expression Grammar) parsers, which can be embedded in a C++ program. The grammars are built and interpreted at run time, without an intermediate code generation stage. It tries to mimic as closely as possible the functionality and style of Ian Piumarta's LEG compiler. LEG grammars can be translated easily and almost mechanically. Actions and semantic predicates can be written directly in the grammar, using lambdas.
