    PathFinding.js

    PathFinding.js

A comprehensive path-finding library for grid based games

...When instantiating path-finders, you may pass in additional parameters to indicate which specific strategies to use. For all path-finders, you may indicate whether diagonal movement is allowed. The default value is false, which means that the path can only go orthogonally. When diagonal movement is enabled, you might want to prevent the path from touching the corners of the occupied grid blocks.

    MDA

    Molecular Dynamics Analyzer (MDA)

...It is capable of minimizing the systematic error that occurs with astigmatism-based 3D techniques owing to the aberrations induced by the refractive index mismatch. In contrast to existing techniques, the method determines the aberration directly from the acquired 2D image stream by exploiting the inherent particle movement and the redundancy introduced by the astigmatism. It does not require additional experimental effort for the user and imaging can directly be started once interesting regions in the sample have been identified. MDA is written in MATLAB and comes with a graphical user interface. The particle fitting routine is provided by an external library written in C. ...

    Spray

    Spray

Scala libraries for building and consuming RESTful web services

Spray is a suite of Scala libraries built on top of Akka that offers a modular, asynchronous, and non-blocking toolkit for building and consuming RESTful and HTTP services. The core philosophy behind Spray is that it should act as a “library” for integration and HTTP layers, not as a full application framework—it gives you the building blocks to handle HTTP and REST but doesn’t impose heavy structure. It includes modules for low-level HTTP I/O, routing, client and server APIs, HTTP model...

Used to recreate the Nike Better World parallax effect

jQuery-Parallax is a lightweight front-end plugin that creates mouse-based parallax effects for layered web elements, enabling websites to simulate depth and motion through interactive animations. The library works by moving multiple layers at different speeds relative to cursor movement, producing a dynamic three-dimensional illusion commonly used in landing pages, portfolios, games, and promotional websites. Designed to integrate easily with jQuery workflows, the plugin emphasizes simplicity while still offering smooth animations and configurable behavior. Developers can customize movement intensity, axis constraints, calibration, inversion, and origin positioning to create tailored interactive experiences. ...

    hbcxx

Use "#!/usr/bin/env hbcxx" to make C++ source code executable

hbcxx uses the Unix hashbang (or shebang) #!/path/to/interpreter technique to make C++ source code directly executable. Modern C++, meaning C++11 or even C++14, feels like another language. This is not because the language has been changed massively but because the new features encourage a different, and slightly higher level way to think about writing C++. It's faster, more fun, supports lambdas, has tools to simplify memory management and includes regular expressions in the standard library. ...

Framework for Agent-oriented MOdelling and Simulation

...It uses the discrete-event simulation framework Desmo-J (http://desmoj.sourceforge.net) as its simulation engine. Famos implements event-driven time advance and focusses on supporting an explicit model of space for the environment, including the movement of agents. Famos was developed in the context of a PhD project. Many aspects of its implementation are therefore still in the prototype stage. It does come with two example models (a re-implementation of Schelling's segregation model and of Epstein and Axtell's Sugarscape model). Famos

    Relative Iterate

Deals with short coming of Boost's preprocessor ITERATE library.

...Mostly this isn't a problem as you can usually add an additional include path to your compiler's command line. However, I must have found the only IDE on the planet that doesn't allow for adding command line switches to the compiler's command line. :/ Another reason that this could be useful is if you prefer to keep your header file includes relative to each other allowing for easily moving the related header files from one place to another.
