BAScript is a simple scripting engine written in Object Pascal you can use to add scripting to your Delphi, Lazarus or Free Pascal applications ("host program") to extend their functionality without the need of recompiling them. The virtual machine defines its own language, called the BAScript language. It is a low-level language, somewhat similar to the Assembler language, which is not intended to be easy to program but easy to execute. So it is recommendable to use other higher level languages and translate them into BAScript language. Package includes two compilers that translates from a higher-level language to the BAScript language. You should note that BAScript is intended to be lightweight, so it has not mechanisms to handle complex data structures or large amounts of data or code. On the other hand, it has less need for memory and resources than other scripting interpreters. If you need more power you may try PascalScript. -

This Python program/library is designed to handle GD-ROM image (GDI) files. It can be used to list files, extract data, generate sorttxt file, extract bootstrap (IP.BIN) file and more. For your convenience, you can use the gditools.py GUI program supplied in the Files section (optional). To use this project you must install the Python 2.7.x branch release binaries. The Avocado language is compiled and currently allows for the creation of console applications. Work on Avocado and the integrated development environment (IDE) began on February 19, 2025. A unique feature of this language is the ability to write commands in Polish and English, compiling code into .exe format. The language is freely available for commercial and non-commercial projects. The Avocado source code is available under the MIT License on GitHub. Avocado is transpiled to Free Pascal and then compiled by the FPC compiler, making it as fast as C or Rust, but with syntax reminiscent of Python.
