RLE format supports a great number of raw inner formats for applications to use, known together as .rle (ie, "stored windowing") ~~~ The Utah Raster toolkit is a collection of programs and C routines for dealing with raster images commonly encountered in computer graphics. It provides the following major functions: * A device and system independent image format for storing images and information about them. Called the RLE format, it uses run length encoding to reduce storage space for most images. * A library of C routines for reading, writing and manipulating images stored in the RLE format. * A collections of programs for manipulating and displaying RLE images. This is a branch from the fxload project, originally part of the linux-hotplug SourceForge project which seems to be abandoned. This branch incorporates the patch from Steven J. Magnani that adds support for Cypress FX3 USB 3.0 endpoint to the fxload utility. It has been tested on Ubuntu 12.04 with the FX3 development kit (part number CYUSB3KIT-001). Oddly, as of January 2013 Cypress doesn't include this utility with its (open source) Linux SDK but requires developers to purchase a copy of MS Windows to be able to program the board. This SourceForge project contains no new code.

PrivateICE is a kernel level debugger similar to SoftICE on Windows. Planned is also a GUI interface for normal debugging in a multitasking environment, as opposed to SoftICE which always halts the entire machine when active.

pilot-qof provides a query interface to data on a Palm device, using pilot-link and QOF - the Query Object Framework. pilot-qof supports reading addressbook, datebook, expenses and ToDo data and runs SQL-type queries on the live data or a QSF XML fil
