    JILRuntime/JewelScript

An object-oriented script language to embed in any application

A general purpose, object-oriented script language that compiles into code for a register based virtual machine. The language is quite similar to object-oriented high-level languages like Java and C#. The library is entirely self-sufficient and ANSI C compliant. It's main purpose is to be embedded in any application to allow automation of that application through scripting. An integrated C++ binding code generator allows you to create bindings for your application's classes in seconds....

    ParTools

Support for manual parallelization of sequential C programs.

ParTools allows the interactive analysis of a C program execution profile and data dependencies to facilitate the discovery and selection of suitable parallelization candidates in a manual parallelization process. The flow does not assume any specific parallelization technique, thus it can be broadly applied. The original (serial) C source is automatically annotated to trace the execution profile and data dependencies at run-time. The annotated program is then executed using a...

    libvcr

A C++ library for managing configuration files via regular expressions

This library is supposed to be used in your C++ programs for managing simple Unix configuration files like /etc/hosts. The library allows to create default configuration, read the configuration file, validate each found option or value with C++ std::regex, automatically remove incorrect options and even merge several configurations with predefined priorities for each option. So it may be useful in programs which use several configuration files. For an extra example of the library usage see...

    Memory Manager: MDX

Memory Manager: MDX = malloc() + free() + Garbage Collection

MDX is a thread safe memory manager similar to the standard C library's malioc() and free(), except that it allows for some (or all) of the memory to be automatically freed by mark and sweep garbage collection with finalization. It's written in C++ under the Apache license for Windows and Linux on 32 & 64 bit systems. Programs using MDX provide it with a marking callback. The callback performs the marking phase of garbage collection, using MDX's mark() method to actually mark the wanted memory blocks. Finalization is similarly accomplished by callback. The rest of the garbage collection process is managed automatically by MDX. ...

    hbcxx

Use "#!/usr/bin/env hbcxx" to make C++ source code executable

hbcxx uses the Unix hashbang (or shebang) #!/path/to/interpreter technique to make C++ source code directly executable. Modern C++, meaning C++11 or even C++14, feels like another language. This is not because the language has been changed massively but because the new features encourage a different, and slightly higher level way to think about writing C++. It's faster, more fun, supports lambdas, has tools to simplify memory management and includes regular expressions in the standard...
