    asm68c

Assembles M6800 and 6801 assembly language source code. (and Forth)

A simple absolute mode assembler for 6800/6801. Handles the complete published set of opcodes/mnemonics. Mostly source-language compatible with the common assemblers in use circa 1985, but no macros. Now uses standard LDAA syntax by default. Produces basic S1/S9 object files and assembly listings, and now binary and MC-10 compatible cassette images. (This is for the 8-bit 6800, not the 16/32 bit 68000/coldfire processors.)

    CityHash

    CityHash

Automatically exported from Google code CityHash

CityHash is a family of non-cryptographic hash functions optimized for extremely fast and high-quality hashing of strings on modern CPUs. Developed by Google, it is implemented in C++ and designed to efficiently handle both short and long inputs using techniques such as mixing operations and CPU-specific optimizations. CityHash offers multiple hash sizes—32-bit, 64-bit, 128-bit, and 256-bit variants—with the CRC-based versions leveraging hardware acceleration on CPUs that support SSE4.2...

    tabtoy

    High performance tabular data exporter

...The fifth-generation exporter, tabtoy v1 is refactored on the basis of the fourth generation, open-source, and supports concurrent export. Binary merge export (5th generation exporter requires 2 tools to complete). For performance reasons, the C# source code reads the tabtoy-specific binary format by default.

    JNativeHook

    JNativeHook

Global keyboard and mouse listeners for Java

JNativeHook is a library to provide global keyboard and mouse listeners for Java. This will allow you to listen for global shortcuts or mouse motion that would otherwise be impossible using pure Java. To accomplish this task, JNativeHook leverages platform-dependent native code through Java's native interface to create low-level system-wide hooks and deliver those events to your application.

    CountBitsSet

minimal benchmark code for Counting Set Bits (ones) in an Integer

...PS: the parallel counting Algo is about 35% faster on average on my computers than a simple LUT based solution. Also this shows nicely how different a human brain compatible solution is to a binary machine optimal solution :-) In the meantime I added other Algorithms beside countbisset (hamming weight): ceil(log2()) + floor(log2()), bitreverse, ... I also recommand to try the code with different compilers and / or plattforms. PS: see result.txt in Code, to see various runs with different compilers and compiler switches

    CameraVoyeur

    CameraVoyeur

Windows-oriented utility to log frames from a connected camera devices

...The project shows how to access the camera stream, keep it running, and expose the captured output for later use or display. Because it’s in a regular GitHub repo and not a closed binary, you can inspect the code to see how device selection, frame acquisition, and UI/display are wired. This makes it useful for developers who want to add camera capture to a Windows tool or who need a barebones sample to build surveillance, monitoring, or computer vision toys on top of. Its value is really in being a simple, readable reference rather than a big camera suite.

    Splitties

    Splitties

A collection of hand-crafted extensions for your Kotlin projects

Splitties is a collection of small Kotlin multiplatform libraries (with Android as first target). These libraries are intended to reduce the amount of code you have to write, freeing code reading and writing time, so you can focus more on what you want to build for your users (even if you're the only one), or have more time to have fun. This project is named "Splitties" because it is split in small modules, distributed as independent libraries, so you can add only the ones you need to your project/module, helping reduce the size of the final binary that users' devices will need to download and keep in the limited storage (BTW, everything is limited). ...

    rust_cmd_lib

    rust_cmd_lib

Common rust command-line macros and utilities

rust_cmd_lib is a Rust library designed to make it easier to write shell-script–style tasks in Rust, blending the power and safety of Rust with the expressiveness of shell pipelines. It provides macros and utilities that let you spawn external processes, redirect input/output, and pipe commands together, all without invoking a shell. You can write something like run_cmd!(ls -l | grep foo > out.txt) in a more declarative style, rather than manually wiring up file descriptors, handles, and...

50 Code Implementations You Must Know About Data Structures

algo is an educational repository containing practical implementations of essential data structures and algorithms. It organizes roughly fifty core exercises by topic rather than presenting a single reusable software library. Bloaty

    Bloaty

Bloaty: a size profiler for binaries

Bloaty is a deep, accurate size profiler for native binaries that tells you where every byte comes from so you can shrink executables and libraries intelligently. It parses binary formats like ELF, Mach-O, and DWARF symbol/debug data without relying solely on toolchain heuristics, letting you attribute size to files, sections, symbols, templates, and even compilation units. Reports can be produced at multiple granularities and diffed across builds to identify regressions introduced by compiler flags, dependencies, or new code paths. ...

    modernish

    modernish

Modernish is a library for writing robust, portable, readable, and pow

...Modernish programs are shell programs; the new constructs are mixed with shell syntax so that the programmer can take advantage of the best of both. There is no compiled code to install, as modernish is written entirely in the shell language. It can be deployed in embedded or multi-user systems in which new binary executables may not be introduced for security reasons, and is portable among numerous shell implementations. The installer can also bundle a reduced copy of the library with your scripts, so they can run portably with a known version of modernish without requiring prior installation.

    D Language Server

    D Language Server

A Language Server implementation for D

...It doesn't do much itself (yet), and rather uses already available components, and provides an interface to work with the LSP. DLS is usable using FreeBSD's Linux binary compatibility system (tested on FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE). Code completion, going to the symbol definition, finding references, symbol renaming. Error checking, code formatting (document, range and on-type), symbol listing (current document and workspace-wide). Symbol highlighting, documentation on hover, random, frustrating crashes.

A set of minimal dependency bootstrap binaries

This is a set of manually created hex programs in a Cthulhu Path to madness fashion. Which only have the goal of creating a bootstrapping path to a C compiler capable of compiling GCC, with only the explicit requirement of a single 1 KByte binary or less. Additionally, all code must be able to be understood by 70% of the population of programmers. If the code can not be understood by that volume, it needs to be altered until it satisfies the above requirement.

    Unused

    Unused

A command line tool to identify unused code

Unused identifies unused code in Rails, Phoenix, and other types of applications, improving developer productivity. By default, unused leverages a different memory allocator called mimalloc. For my local benchmarks, it speeds up execution by a significant amount (which is documented in the commit introducing mimalloc), but currently runs into sporadic issues on Apple M1 devices. If you run into issues with segmentation faults, consider reinstalling unused with the stock Rust allocator. It is...
