    LINE Solver

Simulation and algorithms for queueing theory

LINE is an open-source software package to analyze queueing models via analytical methods and simulation. The solver is available for Python, MATLAB, C++ and Java. LINE features algorithms for the solution of open queueing systems (e.g., M/M/1, M/M/k, M/G/1, ...), open and closed queueing networks, and layered queueing networks. The LINE discrete event simulator (LDES) covers a broad spectrum of these models. Additional details are available on the project website: http://line-solver.sf.net.

  • PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime Icon
PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime

Threshold-based alerts flag problems early, so your team can act before users notice, not after.

Reactive troubleshooting usually means hearing about a problem from frustrated users, not your monitoring tool. PRTG sets threshold-based alerts across devices, servers and applications, notifying your team by email, SMS or push the moment a metric crosses a set limit. That means catching a failing disk or overloaded server before it becomes an outage and getting time back from firefighting. Start a free trial and set your first alerts today.

Press "r" to clear the screen and "m" to open the menu. Press "1" .. "8" to switch color presets. SPACE to pause. "s" to save a png or jpg. syfluid is written in C++ using OpenGL. Even though it is heavily performance optimized and using OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL), it is a performance hog. Use "f" to show the FPS. If they are lower than 30, then reduce the quality parameter that you find in the menu from 200 to e.g. 100. ...

    JSim

Java-based discrete event simulator of an M/M/s queue system

JSim is a Java-based discrete event simulator of an M/M/s queue system. The target audience are students and educators who may use it to explain and understand the basic principles of the system. JSim includes a library of classes that can be used to modify the application to simulate other types of queuing systems as well. Therefore, it may be used as starting point to build larger, application specific simulator.
