    runjags

The 'runjags' R package and standalone JAGS extension module

This package provides high-level interface utilities for MCMC models via Just Another Gibbs Sampler (JAGS), facilitating the use of parallel (or distributed) processors for multiple chains, automated control of convergence and sample length diagnostics, and evaluation of the performance of a model using drop-k validation or against simulated data. Template model specifications can be generated using a standard lme4-style formula interface to assist users less familiar with the BUGS syntax. A JAGS extension module provides additional distributions including the Pareto family of distributions, the DuMouchel prior and the half-Cauchy prior.

    NoCTweak

a Parameterizable Simulator for Early Exploration of Networks On-Chip

A networks-on-chip (NoC) simulator allows designers to early estimate performance (latency and throughput), energy efficiency (average/peak power, average energy per packet) and area of several networks on-chip configurations at different CMOS nodes. This tool is a cycle-accurate simulator and is open-source using SystemC, a C++ plugin, which is used to quickly model complex systems at a higher level but less details than RTL. NoCTweak was developed by Dr. Anh Tran and Dr. Bevan Baas at UC Davis. NoCTweak has been extended and integrated into McSim, a project developed by Dr. Abdoulaye Gamatié, Dr. Gilles Sassatelli, Dr. Manuel Selva et al. at LIRMM lab. McSim is a simulator for NoC-based many-core platforms, and is a part of the DreamCloud European project. ...

    birgHPCC

    birgHPCC

    Rapid CUDA Cluster Deployment

...While retaining the major functions of the original birgHPC, including automated computing cluster conversion and auto slots detection, the new version (birgHPCC) is capable of creating and configuring a compute unified device architecture (CUDA) computing cluster, hence the extra “C” in the name. In addition to the increase in image size (less than 2 gigabytes) and a new Linux base (previously Debian, now Ubuntu), CUDA-capable bioinformatics software programs, such as NAMD, HOOMD-blue, VMD, GPU-HMMER and GPU-BLAST, are pre-installed in birgHPCC, along with the CUDA driver, libraries and software development kit (SDK). In short, birgHPCC is the world's first CUDA-ready, bioinformatics-based, live DVD.
