Urban is a software capable of procedurally creating 3d urban environments. It's based on a multi-agent system where each agent is responsible for one type of urban object. This means the system is highly modular and can easily be extended.

It provides a graphical animated representation of a network simulation run (e.g. for ns-2). Further, common metrics are calculated and displayed. The tool is written in Java and supplies 2 frontends (applet and stand-alone application).

VSYML is an automated symbolic simulator for VHDL designs.

VOpR - A Virtual Optical Rail VOpR allows to create and evaluate simple optical systems, in which the basic optical elements are arranged along the optical axis. The current supported optical elements are: spaces,spherical lenses, circular apertures and flat blocks of some optical medium. The program has three main components: 1. The database editor. Currently the database can store data about: -optical materials, -spherical lenses, -projection properties of light sensors and eyes, -special wavelengths of light and -optical systems as lists of basic optical elements. 2. The editor of linear optical systems. Some properties of the optical system are calculated in real time. 3. The virtual optical rail as a ray-tracing simulation of the optical system. The goal is to provide fast and useful diagnostic images, not realistic blur. Additionally there is full access to the java source code under the terms of the GPLv3.

VT-Layer is a Java library for discrete-event simulation modeling. VT-Layer allows you to create, visualize, and analyze high-performance discrete-event simulations.

ViennaFEM is a library-centric implementation of the finite element method in C++. ViennaFEM is built on top of the following libraries: ViennaMath provides the symbolic math kernel, ViennaGrid (with ViennaData) allows for a generic grid handling and quantity storage, while ViennaCL provides the linear solvers and GPU acceleration.

ViennaGrid is a generic mesh handling library that provides the traversal of structured and unstructured grids in arbitrary spatial dimensions, in particular 1d, 2d and 3d. Quantities can be conveniently stored on mesh elements using ViennaData.

Viperfish is intended for the sailor looking to improve his weather forecasting. Viperfish provides the ability to visualise and modify GRIB (weather prediction) files, it can plot routes and provides routing based on coming weather and boat performance.
