QSMM, a recursive acronym for "QSMM State Machine Model", is a framework for learning finite automatons that perform goal-directed interaction with entities which exhibit deterministic or stochastic behavior. The learning process can be carried out in real time together with the interaction process. ADiGator is a source transformation via operator overloading tool for the automatic differentiation of mathematical functions written in MATLAB. Given a user written file, together with information on the inputs of said file, ADiGator uses forward mode automatic differentiation to generate a new file which contains the calculations required to compute the numeric derivatives of the original user function. ...With JMCAD, users can quickly develop software or "virtual" prototypes of systems or processes to demonstrate their behavior prior to building physical prototypes. The user builds his system model by selecting predefined blocks from a block library and simply wiring the blocks together. Each block of the diagram performs a function. Migration of cells in a social context
Model of the migration of 3T3 fibroblast cells in social context
Code updated. There were a few errors in the physical model of the concentration field of secreted chemokine surrounding each cell, together with a few coding errors. All have been corrected, the model refitted, and all simulations presented in the paper repeated. Results from this corrected model are on par with the published results. See pdf file for details. -
