    Evoversum
    This project has been moved to https://bitbucket.org/pbazant/evoversum/src/master/ . Evoversum is a fast Darwinian evolution simulator. The program simulates a 2D world populated with "animals" which struggle for food, reproduce and may also eat each other. The subject of evolution is their behavior, which may become quite complex. There is an updated video tutorial at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPkZvyVDWJU !

    Evrika

    Evrika

    Science simulator and advanced calculator based on modules

    Evrika is a science simulator and advanced calculator, which is based on modules. Modules are libraries containing definitions of concepts that can be used in the simulation. By definitions we mean properties, actions, reactions, etc. Evrika is used for creating both simulations and modules, so you can build your own module of elements, then use them to create virtual experiments and simulations. Also, you can make advanced calculations. Evrika is basically an executable that reads and interprets code, outputing result. Each new version will offer new possibilities to define your elements and use them, so it is important to always have the last release. Of course, Evrika is backward-compatible, cross platform and free to use. In the near future an advanced editor and viewer will be created, so you can better manage your code and view the results.

    Exreco

    Exreco

    EXperimental REplicator COllider

    The project is moved to GitHub : https://github.com/bekisz/exreco/ Exreco is a agent based platform for the simulation and study of the Darwinian evolutionary process. It aims to support the exploration of genetically rooted phenomena like - aging (programmed cell death) - sexual and asexual reproduction - altruism of individuals - spread of diseases The typical way of using Exreco starts by defining the behavior of your replicators ( agents that can reproduce and evolve over time), and defining the environment of these replicators. If it is all done you can let it run observing what kind of genes prevail over time. The tool typically runs the same world (experiment scenario) over and over again to have a statistical understanding of the various replicator strategies.

    FAST Simulations

    FAST Simulations

    An Open source Analysis and SImulation Toolbox for Fuel Cells

    FAST is an Analysis and Simulation Toolbox (FAST) for Fuel Cells (FC) FAST-FC is the doctorate work of David B. Harvey and was developed with support from the U.S. DOE, Ballard, and Queen's University. Derivative works of FAST-FC include FC-APOLLO which is a forked branch of this project intended to capture the code state at the exit of the funded DOE project. FAST-FC is the open and active community branch. FAST-FC is developed and maintained by the original creator and developer, David B. Harvey. Features of FAST-fc include transport of gases and liquids, multi-step reaction kinetics, transient and steady state operation for performance and durability, and scalable dimensionality from 1D - 3D domains. Future development work is on-going in FAST-fc and our strategic development schedule includes membrane degradation, improved liquid water transport models through the application of pore networks, and extension to stack-level simulation.

    FFSM++

    French Forest Sector Model

    Given the importance of anthropogenic determinants in forest ecosystems within Europe, the objective of the FFSM++ model is to link the evidence arising from biological models with socio-economic determinants, where the expected returns of forest investments represent the main drivers. An (inventory-based) forest dynamic model is hence coupled with a (partial equilibrium) market module and a (micro-based) management one in a national level forest sector model for France (FFSM++). The model is fully open source (GPL3) with the sole exception that if you publish some document based on a modified version of FFSM++ you need to publish also the modifications you made.
