3D OpenGL dungeon game using Ada: a tribute to Narbacular Drop
AdaGate is a 3D OpenGL strategy game with escape rooms in a Stargate fantasy setting. It is an elaborate example of modern OpenGL programming using the Ada language; and a tribute to Narbacular Drop, and Amelia Earhart. Each room has a barrier that must be circumvented using portals. The barriers include water with piranha, molten magma, and walls. Runs on Windows, OSX, and GNU/Linux. The linux binary now runs on many linux distros! Includes all source code, build scripts & resources. -

The character just wandering around, fighting random enemies, trading NPCs and collecting items. Upon levelling, the character recieves some random new equipment and a few stat bonuses. -

FlightCraft3D anyway goes a lot beyond: is physically realistic, and allowes landing everywhere. It aims at becoming a game focused on casual landing, among trees, rocks and buildings and so on. Sort of remake of the classic STUNTS[1990] driving game, but featuring many authentic elements, OpenGL graphics, and more realistic physics than the origianal, plus particular attention to internal view. It has all the features that CTruck3D has but it is much like GTA 3 ... can get on-off the vehicle, and one can climb on stunt-structures, and there are buildings on which one can jump. It takes care of all types of postbuild tasks such as collecting compiled class files, hashing file names, copying hashed files to the mod's target folder etc. This tools is approx. 100 times faster than the famous classhasher written by QTim. -
