in the early 90ies dogfight was a very funny public domain 2d-game for the amiga. We (David Bührer and I) rewrote that game for windows32, using directx.
The gameplay and graphics are great, but the code needs some improvements.

GUSANOS is a 2D worms like game.
GUSANOS is an open-source clone of the DOS game Liero. It currently works on Windows and Linux.
In the game each player controls a small worm armed to the teeth and fights other worms in a destructible battleground. It can be described as "Real-time Worms" or "2D Quake", or a combination of both.
The gameplay is as close as possible to Liero's.
Graviton is a 2D spaceship combat game (in the style of Gravity Force/Power and Bratwurst). The idea is to defeat the other players in combat, using the various weaponry available to you. However, the graphics are 3D and vector-based.
