Another clone of Rick Dangerous classic game
Rick Dangerous was one of my favorite games for the spectrum (and Amiga), it already has a very good clone (xrick), but it lacks the ability to easily create new maps and enhance the graphics since they are built in the code itself. RickyD uses xml extensively to configure all aspects of the game, from objects to tiles and sound, maps are also written in xml, so they can be easily edited. -

I'm a big fan of games similar to the Tyrian or Raptor. Especially Tyrian, but to play the same levels - it's boring. So I created my game in this genre, where levels can be generated randomly. Ever had the experience of a 8 bit system, having max. 64k memory, using assembler to write effective small programs? This system is an experimental 8 bit, 16 color computer, with a processer similar to Z80, that (on my laptop using linux with NO opengl support) achieves up to 1.2 Million instructions per second and 50 Hz. screen refresh rate. It has a builtin assembler to load assembler programs. There is a rudimentary rom that implements some basic functions like line input, or a system clock. 2D motorcycle simulator done using Lagrangian equations of motion
2D simulation game using exlusively Lagrangian equations of motion. It's a 2D motocross game similar to X-Moto, ActionSupercross and such. Some stability issues persist but mostly it's good already. I shall compile it soon for Windows: one of the problems is that Windows compilers must periodically be reinstalled, and that's annoying. Using Lagrangians in games is not a well documented thing, but it allows to achieve exellent results in very little time, soon after a good parametrization... -
