Do you still remember the good old snake game in Nokia 3310? I still remember, but didn't have idea to do it at first. One day, I saw Youtube snake and it has inspired me to create a snake game with black and white color scheme. Because I am still a student, I didn't have much time to work on it yet, I only made a simple version of snake game called SnakeVB, which provide very very basic gameplay, no map customization, no snake skin support... After that, my holiday has arrived, besides of playing my favorite games, I was also start working on this project. Lots of paper were harmed for my planning for the game program structure. I had planned a lot of features, such as: * Custom snake skin * Custom map * Bulit-in map editor * Special UI * LAN Multiplayer * Background music * Special items on map Now the snake game didn't implement many of these functions yet but it WILL, so let's wait. :D

Front-end for MAME under Linux, extending the now-defunct GXMame front-end

JVGS is an open source platform game that is not like the others. It is build on simple line structures loaded from svg files, giving the whole game a "sketched" and minimalistic look. Levels can be made with simple xml and lua files.

Rick Dangerous was one of my favorite games for the spectrum (and Amiga), it already has a very good clone (xrick), but it lacks the ability to easily create new maps and enhance the graphics since they are built in the code itself. RickyD uses xml extensively to configure all aspects of the game, from objects to tiles and sound, maps are also written in xml, so they can be easily edited. Creating completely new maps is very easy, just create a new tileset and use a tool like tiled to put everything together. RickyD uses the brand new SDL 2.0 and the matching libraries SDL2_image, SDL2_mixer and SDL2_ttf.

WinTrek, originally created by Joe Jaworski in 1996, is based on the classic game - Mainframe Star Trek. Since this game was written for Windows 3.1, many new systems cannot run the program smoothly. This project picks up what was left off by Jaworski.
