Java Modelling Tools is a suite of scientific tools for performance analysis and modelling using queueing theory and colored stochastic Petri nets. CloudMIG Xpress addresses those kinds of challenges and provides tool support for the comparison and planning phases to migrate software systems to PaaS or IaaS-based clouds. It originates from an academical prototype and is built to support research in cloud migration.

The software simulates the motion of the solar system by different numerical methods. On start, the software expects the input file planeten.txt in the same folder. This file should contain the desired initial conditions. The separator may be adjusted via the file settings.ini.

ParallelSim is a parallel processor simulator written in Java which shows the effect of increasing the workload keeping the number of processing elements constant in one simulation. The number of processors is scalable and can be increased in subsequent iterations of simulation. The parameters like initial load, load offset, number of processors are declared as constants and can be changed directly in the source code to emulate different scenarios.
