ARKit + CoreLocation combines the high accuracy of AR with the scale of GPS data. The potential for combining these technologies is huge, with so many potential applications across many different areas. Allow items to be placed within the AR world using real-world coordinates. Dramatically improved location accuracy, using recent location data points combined with knowledge about movement through the AR world. The improved location accuracy is currently in an “experimental” phase, but could be the most important component. The library and demo come with a bunch of additional features for configuration. It’s all fully documented to be sure to have a look around.

    Sciatrope is a Cocoa (macOS) application made by an eclipse chaser for eclipse chasers. It helps preparing for, and observe, any solar eclipse. It gives the eclipse circumstances, distance and direction to the central line. Observing location can be provided by the Mac, an external GPS, by location name, from a previously saved favorite location, or by latitude and longitude. Eclipse circumstances are displayed in tabular form, on a map, a compass, or in an image, with azimuthal or equatorial orientation, which can be flipped horizontally, vertically, or both. The map also displays the eclipse path, with the central line and the north and south limits of the central eclipse. The eclipse path is refined when you zoom in. For the experts or adventurous, eclipse elements can be modified, to take into account new updated elements, or experiment with the Besselian elements.

    SwiftWeather has been renamed to Swift Language Weather. Swift Language Weather is an iOS weather app developed in Swift 4. The app has been actively upgrading to adopt the latest features of iOS and Swift language. The current version is working with Xcode Version Xcode 9.1 (9B55). If you are using a different Xcode version, please check out the previous releases. We use Protocol-Oriented Programming in IBAnimatable open source projects. Value-based programming, we use immutable values anywhere. Icon fonts, weather icons, SwiftyJSON, core location, app indexing like CoreSpotlight and NSUserActivity. Unit tests, UI tests, and animations supported. Compile and run the app in your simulator. If you don't see any data, please check "Simulator" -> "Debug" -> "Location" to change the location.
