LAnd Survey Tools "LAST" was created to preserve and expand on the work invested in an old, privately used, DOS based land survey construction and data collection application by porting much of the C++ coded logic and design concept over to Python.

An isotopic pattern calculator written in Python 3. Given a chemical formula, it calculates the full isotopic distribution and simulates a mass spectrum. Dependencies: Python 3.6+, numpy, matplotlib, tkinter. The old python 2.x code has been updated and given a GUI. It's also a lot faster now.

Update - SRST2 Now Available ------ 25 Sep, 2013 This project has now been replaced by SRST2 - Short Read Sequence Typing for Bacterial Pathogens, available at http://katholt.github.io/srst2/ The new SRST2 program does gene typing as well as MLST (e.g. typing resistance genes, virulence genes, etc). SRST2 is faster and more accurate than the old SRST, using bowtie2 to achieve local alignments (no need for flanking sequences) and a brand new scoring system.

A module for Python which provides interface to the PARI/GP computing library. We propose to write programs for PARI using Python scripting language. Python makes code much more clean, readable and manageable than the old-style PARI scripts.
