Genomic Region Archiving and Binding Sites Analysis (BiSA)
BiSA is a bioinformatics database resource that allows investigators to run a number of overlapping genomic region analyses using their own datasets, or against the pre-loaded Knowledge Base. Analysis results can be restricted to a chromosome; the minimum base pair overlap in two sets or maximum distance between regions can be set; as can the maximum allowed distance between region centres. BiSA is capable of reporting overlapping regions that share common base pairs; regions that are nearby; regions that are not overlapping; average region sizes. BiSA can also annotate binding regions of interest with nearby genes. The results of overlap analysis can be imported into the Knowledge Base, allowing them to go into downstream analysis and independent annotation. ... -

This project contains a set of python scripts to perform SExtractor galaxy photometry simulations. It uses Galfit to simulate the galaxies and SExtractor for the photometry. It is defined to be used also with distributed computing and with Condor. No very well documented yet. Developed for my PhD. -

RASP takes as input spin systems assembled on the basis of an arbitrary set of conventional triple-resonance NMR experiments. Uniquely, RASP is capable of extensive assignments even in the abscence of Cbeta chemical shift information: over a test set of 154 proteins RASP assigns 88 % of residues with an accuracy of 99.7 %, using only information available from HNCO and HNCA spectra. nwbas2ecce converts nwchem basis set files to the ECCE format
...In addition, many of the newer basis sets that come with nwchem aren't included, such as the def2- series. nwbas2ecce is a python script that aims to automate as much as possible of the conversion process of a nwchem basis set file into the files necessary for ECCE to included it in the basis set tool. The process isn't completely automatic, but I also believe that it shouldn't be to avoid stuff-ups -- however, the amount of manual editing is kept to a minimum. Note that these script are run in the terminal. The screenshot is of the basis set tool in ECCE, not this piece of software. -

The R library applies circular statistics to spike phase data and saves the best von Mises fit and the Rayleigh statistics on the disk. The wavelet coherence analysis is done in R by the package "sowas". -
