TORCS, The Open Racing Car Simulator is a highly portable multi platform car racing simulation. It is used as ordinary car racing game, as AI racing game and as research platform. It runs on Linux (x86, AMD64, ARM and PPC), FreeBSD, OpenSolaris and Windows.
A build-it-yourself, 6-wheel rover based on the rovers on Mars
The JPL Open Source Rover is an open source, build it yourself, scaled down version of the 6 wheel rover design that JPL uses to explore the surface of Mars. The Open Source Rover is designed almost entirely out of consumer off the shelf (COTS) parts. This project is intended to be a teaching and learning experience for those who want to get involved in mechanical engineering, software, electronics, or robotics. JPL is always looking to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers,...
The DREAM toolbox is a free open source acoustic field simulation tool
The DREAM (Discrete REpresentation Array Modelling) toolbox is a free open source toolbox, for both Matlab and Octave , for simulating acoustic fields radiated from common ultrasonic transducer types and arbitrarily complicated ultrasonic transducers arrays. The DREAM toolbox enables analysis of beam-steering, beam-focusing, and apodization for wideband (pulse) excitation both in near and far fields.

A highly flexible 3D flocking boids simulator, conceived as a tool for
This project concerns the design and implementation of an open-source flocking boids simulator, designed as a tool to analyze and characterize flock-like collective emerging behaviors. Each boid is conceived as an active agent and modelled by a point-mass approximation. Boid movements in a 3D space are guided by a set of elementary steering behaviors, each implemented as a force acting on the boid's point mass. Each boid is affected by interactions with both the environment and other boids. The set of considered behaviors are inspired by the well-known approach introduced in 1987 by C. W. Reynolds. The simulator delivers a 3D visual interface and provides as an output file all the instantaneous microscopic information related to each boid (positions and velocities over time), allowing in this way subsequent analysis, such as searching for synthetic and higher-level descriptions of collective behaviors, relying for instance on global network and meta-structural properties.
One Monitoring Tool for IT, OT and Cloud | Free Trial
Vendor-agnostic monitoring across on-prem servers, cloud platforms and OT devices, all in one dashboard. No more tool sprawl.
Modern infrastructure spans data centers, cloud platforms and factory floors, and every blind spot between them is a risk. PRTG supports SNMP, WMI, SSH and other standard protocols to monitor IT, OT and hybrid environments through one customizable dashboard.
