RHINO parses Korean words by morpheme and part-of-speech. Its dictionaries are based on Korean Modern Tagged Corpus(12 million phrases scale) which was made by Korean government. So it analyses many cases of stems and endings. And the newly developed Dynamic Dictionary Technology can make words to react with their context. That is, a programmed database. rRNAFinder
Fast ribosomal RNA detector and annotator
..."rRNAFinder.pl" program included in the package uses nhmmer program searching against the arc.hmm, bac.hmm, and euk.hmm databases to identify rRNA genes from the input contigs. The predicated rRNA genes include 16S, 18S, 23S, 28S, 5S, and 5.8S rRNA genes. The "rna2taxon.pl" program accepts the above generated fasta format rRNA gene sequences as an input to produce the taxonomic assignments for the input genes. The input rRNA gene sequences are searched against the downloaded and reformatted SILVA SSU and LSU databases using blastn. This program for Scilab searches for primary peaks in the segments of brainwave signal spectrum which are much above the signal spectrum average. Brainwave segments of 1 s are Fourier transformed, thresholded and merged if contiguous. Selected segments are drawn in time domain, frequency domain and a narrow-band analysis at 75 Hz is attempted. This program should detect strong external signals in brainwave recordings. Weak signals are not detected. -

...This tool allows bioinformatics to avoid the analysis of not necessary reads, reducing the time of subsequent procedures with the dataset. MarDRe is the Big Data counterpart of ParDRe (link above), which employs HPC technologies (i.e., hybrid MPI/multithreading) to reduce runtime on multicore systems. Instead, MarDRe takes advantage of the MapReduce programming model to significantly improve ParDRe performance on distributed systems, especially on cloud-based infrastructures.
