As fishing is a passion of mine,and it got me to consider using the NMEA formatted data output from my Lowrance 5-DSI Elite to generate a bathymetric map of the lake at my cottage. It is currently very crude, just a bunch of CLI scripts that record NMEA data, and the other parses the stored data and builds a depth, water temperature and sample frequency map. -

Truncated power series algebra
This project consists of two object-oriented implementations of truncated power series (TPSA) for arbitrary order and number of variables. Addition, subtraction, multiplcation, division, and exponentiation are all implemented in the algebra as overloaded operators. They can also compute with maps, a map being an array of TPSA objects representing a mapping of a space into itself. They are implemented as arrays of TPSA objects equal in number to the number of variables of the algebra. One implementation is written in Mathematica and is rather slow. The second is written in VB.net and is much faster. -

This project contains a set of php/perl scripts to analyze Cisco IOS-XR routers PE configuration, providing an html output which is very useful to surf over configurations. Moreover, it contains some other functions to search and compare configurations (access-list, prefix-sets, route-maps ...) between XR and IOS routers, and to analyze syslog data. It is not intended for "normal" end-users, but for network administrators and operations groups. You will need to install Apache (or any other web server) with PHP, configuring apache in the proper way for directories permissions and so on. Find more pictures and info in the docs.

This is a library for optical calculations built upon truncated power series algebra implemented in VB.net. It represents optical systems as maps from a starting surface to an ending surface. The surfaces are themselves specified as truncated power series. The maps include path lengths; the library calculates interference as path length differences, and shearing is handled correctly through mixed-form maps. The library includes a rudimentary front end for interpreting a simple language for optical-system specification, a dll, and an optical glass library of commercial glasses. -

It uses paired end reads where one mate maps to one exon and the other mate to a different exon and/or split reads spanning exon exon junctions to count “links” between two exons.
