Many of us use LM555 timer chips to generate clocks, tones for model trains, and all sort of other uses. Calculating the values of the resistors and capacitor in the timing chain, along with the duty cycle for astable operation is a bit tedious on a calculator so I built this small forms based tool to make it easier. It even has the graphic of the chip and the pin numbers to make it easy to hook things up. -
