Real-time interactive 3D graphics API for scientific simulations

...Get it at https://github.com/ravidavi/OpenFrames/wiki OpenFrames is an Application Programming Interface (API) that allows developers to provides the ability to add interactive 3D graphics to any scientific simulation. A simulation developer can use OpenFrames to specify what they want to visualize, without having to know any details of computer graphics programming. OpenFrames is currently used by three NASA programs: Copernicus (NASA JSC), the General Mission Analysis Tool (GMAT, NASA GSFC), and a Virtual Reality exploration tool (NASA GSFC).

    RElt

calculates overlap, kinetic integrals for numerical atomic orbitals.

...The described algorithm exploits the properties of the prolate spheroidal coordinates. The overlap and the kinetic integrals in R^3 are reduced to the integrals over the rectangular domain in R^2, what substantially reduces the complexity of the problem. We prove that the integrand over the rectangular domain is continuous and does not have any slope singularities. For calculation of the integral over the rectangle any adaptive algorithm can be applied. The exemplary results were obtained by application of the adaptive Gauss quadrature. ...

    Techne (R) CAD/CAM

2.5D CAD CAM emphasis on CAM and toolpaths

...The goal is a design application closer to Adobe Illustrator than to AutoCAD. The user specifies machining aspects during object creation so that when the design/layout phase is completed the toolpath generation can occur automatically. What is 2.5D? Objects created are flat (2D) but have a depth component. So you can create a square that will be machined at a specific depth but the depth will be constant accross the square. It is not/does not: A general purpose CAD (AutoCAD) type program. Support reference dimension on the drawing. Export or import major CAD file formats.

    bnf2xml

simple BNF parser makes xml markup of matches

...EXAMPLE: $ echo "hi" | bnf2xml patternfile <word><alph>h</alph><alph>i</alph></word> or <gas>hydrogen iodide</gas> patternfile says how to find needle in haystack and what to show, ie: <alph> ::= a | b | c | d ... <word> ::= <alph>+ bnf2xml is a top down recursive parser. Unlike buttom up parsers like gcc(1) or some top downs, bnf2xml is completely unambiguous / resolves ALL conflicts. Slower on ave. for parsing C or than sed(1) for simple searches. Far easier than using flex/C to create a parser. ...

    qcv

    qcv

Computer Vision Framework Library (for Linux)

QCV is a Qt-based computer vision framework library that provides an easy to use interface to display, analyze and run computer vision algorithms. The library is provided with practical examples to show what you can do with just a few lines of code. OpenCV is used as the supporting computer vision library. QCV provides interfaces for C and C++. The C interface is a set of simple function calls to allow the user to visualize data and obtain events from the system and user input. The C++ interface has more features allowing the user to run and analyze complex computer vision algorithm in a few lines of code (see the stereo and surf examples). ...

    Simbuca
SIMBUCA (before called Simonion) is a simulation package that simulates the motion of charged particles under the influence of Electric and/or Magnetic fields. What makes Simbuca unique is that you can choose to calculate the Coulomb interaction between ions on a Graphics cards which is much faster than calculating this on the conventional CPU (reducing the simulation time from years to days). Therefore Simbuca has been applied in various projects which required to understand the behaviour of charged "trapped" particles under the influence of EM Fields and there mutual Coulomb interaction. ...

    PCBColorizer

    PCBColorizer

Automatic coloring PCB - make a color circuit board for installation.

...The basic principle: each type of component (identical components) are marked with a unique symbol that has its own color and style. This simplifies the visual search component on the board. The program also generates a text list of components, where the marks, what type of components is associated with which character on the circuit board.

    CDPOPgui

    GUI Frontend for CDPOP

CDPOPgui is a GUI Frontend for CDPOP What is CDPOP? CDPOP (Cost Distance POPulations) is a spatially-explicit simulator of gene-flow in complex landscapes to explain observed population responses and provide a foundation for landscape genetics. The program implements individual-based population modeling with Mendelian inheritance on a resistant landscape. Simulation begins with an initial homogeneous population and followed by divergence through time as functions of individual based movement, breeding and dispersal on a continuous cost surface. ...

    CAD2Board

    CAD2Board

is a Qt program to generate SMD chip shooter code

...Any modifications for PCB population can be defined to generate PCB variants, consider rotations from unusual tape and reel packaging or to account in advance for CAD library or PCB design bugs. Generated setup data is stored in a seperate project file. Succeeding PCB revisions what contain redesign changes can be merged with existing project setup data. Inconsistencies are highlighted to solve them by new assignements and unused feeders can be cleaned up with a single push. Finally a machine program is generated in Heeb HE50 format and downloaded to the machine interface.

    Numerical Systems Calculator

    Numerical Systems Calculator

An arithmetic calculator for the most popular numerical systems.

Have you ever imagined not having to do math to convert the various number systems and still make arithmetic calculations with different numerical systems in the same expression? That's what makes this application. You can mix decimal, binary, octal and hexadecimal arithmetic operations using the symbols "+, -, *, /,^,". You can put "e" to use Napier's constant, put "pi" to use pi constant and put a "!" in the of numerical system form to factorization. So let's start doing the math in an instant with this application and save the rest of the time for more useful things of interest.

    any2ufmf

Compress videos to ufmf format (micro fly movie format)

any2ufmf reads in videos of various formats and outputs a compressed UFMF (micro-fly movie format) video. I'm not sure what kinds of videos it reads -- whatever OpenCV reads. It has worked on uncompressed AVIs (BI_RGB Raw Bitmap), motion JPEG AVIs, and H.264 Quicktime MOV files. I wrote this program when debugging my video data capture code. It's interface is rather bare, but it may be useful to someone.
