    detectproj

Automated detection of the unknown early map projection

...The awareness of the map projection is primarily important for: • refinement of spatial georeference for the medium- and small-scale maps, • analysis of the knowledge about the former world, • location of the incorrectly/inaccurately drawn map regions. Sytem requirements: • 2 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor. • 2 GB RAM (32-bit) or 4 GB RAM (64-bit) system. • 120 MB available hard disk space. • JDK 1.8 +. • Internet connection (download speed > 2Mb/s

    rDock

    rDock

A Fast, OpenSource Program for Docking Ligands to Proteins and N.Acids

...rDock is mainly written in C++ and accessory scripts and programs are written in C++, perl or python languages. The full rDock software package requires less than 50 MB of hard disk space and it is compilable in all Linux computers. Thanks to its design and implementation, it can be installed on a computation cluster and deployed on an unlimited number of CPUs, allowing HTVS campaigns to be carried out in a matter of days. The rDock program was developed from 1998 to 2006 by the software team at RiboTargets (subsequently Vernalis (R&D) Ltd). ...

    WaveSorter

A powerful, versatile tool for offilne spike analysis and sorting

...Slider controls let the user select any coefficient or sample from any of several transforms, which can then be plotted to either axis of a 2D histogram (scatterplot). Within the waveform space, cursor-based controls let the user select subregions of the waveform space or individual waveforms to view. The user may cluster waveforms manually or via one of several popular clustering programs. The classification along with waveform properties (width, etc.) can be saved to disk in simple text files. WaveSorter is written in C++, utilizes the GNU Scientific Library for all computation, and is highly parallelized; on modern hardware it can handle files containing several 100,000s of waveforms per channel with almost no noticeable loss in GUI fluidity and <1sec lags for files with >1,000,000 waveforms per channel. ...
