Free and Open Source Technical Analysis Charting Software
...The program is flexible and its functionalities can be easily extended. You can draw geometrical shapes on your charts or plot programmable indicators from your data. It is also possible to filter or merge data. I got a little inspired from MT4 allowing a fairly easy portability of programmed indicators from MT4 to QChartist. It is now faster and much more professional thanks to the use of a C++ layer (used mostly for calculations) over the standard Basic layer (used mostly for the GUI interface). You can use astro indicators and functions from a library for astronomical calculations. ...
galaxie chung is a galaxy numerical simulation experiment i have written in fast compiled freebasic for calculation and openGL for displaying.
the galaxy is modelized as a gaz of stars submited to gravitation.
Can run on an ordinary pc notebook.
Exploiting Mox Software "Bipolar Transistors" database
It requires db.sqlite database and images folder containing transistor's implementation pin
Bipolar Transistor Database from Mox Software is not available anymore. As on many download websites it was mentioned as open sources (but no source available) I decided to rebuild if almost from scratch.
As a transistor database may be useful i decide to share what I've done.
It has been written in Purebasic because IDE is free till 800 lines of code written, and mainly because it's very portable with a lot of library embedded.

The Famous Recursive Algorithm In Old-Fashioned BASIC
This program is written in BWBasic, the version provided with DOSEMU, the DOS emulator. In this version of BASIC, you use GOSUB to call a procedure, and there are no local variables. So I used arrays to allocate memory for stacks, from where the "local variables" are taken.
From this code you can learn how recursion and functions with dynamic local variables work.
A simple DOS program pack that can very smoothly take some engineering calculations. It's fully written in russian, but I working over it's english version.
legacy BASIC programs for ship sailing and operation.
This archival repository contains some legacy BASIC programs for ship sailing and operation. I used them on a CASIO FX-870P packet computer during 1992-1993. After I left my deck officer career, I no longer maintained them.
