With Epidemic-Simulation you can look at the development of a corona-like epidemic or pandemic, impose a lockdown and follow the statistics. When imposing a lockdown there will be a marker in the statistics about the beginning and the end of the lockdown. There is a simple movement simulation of the people. If a susceptible person gets close to an infected person their viral load increases and they might get infected. This software is very new and will be updated from time to time. Currently people can die from the virus or from suicide when they got too unhappy. Lockdowns, social isolation, being close to somebody who died and being sick makes unhappy. Being close to other (living) people makes happy (human relation). The satistics currently include number of: susceptible, infectious, recovered, deaths; total happiness and happiness of single persons. Acceptance of lockdowns depends on personality and decreases with time.

This program allows to draw diagrams with chart library, that can be used with dialog applications, based on the RC files designers (such as FbEdit for example). FBtranslate chung is a program to help translation in a foreign language strings data of a freebasic program . It is written in freebasic and uses gui_chung . It extracts all strings literals of a program code into a single file, so you can translate this file with an free online translator like google translate , then rebuilds the new program with the translated text data.

This program is written in BWBasic, the version provided with DOSEMU, the DOS emulator. In this version of BASIC, you use GOSUB to call a procedure, and there are no local variables. So I used arrays to allocate memory for stacks, from where the "local variables" are taken. From this code you can learn how recursion and functions with dynamic local variables work.
