Meqaris (Meeting Equipment and Room Invitation System) is a system that allows booking meeting/conference rooms and other equipment or resources (like mobile whiteboards, projectors or conference audio/video sets) by using the same type of e-mail invitations that are used to invite participants to meetings. Especially useful in corporate environments, but can be used for anything in general, even by individual users. Simply add "resource participants" to the recipient list (just like other attendees) of your e-mail invitation to book the resource and wait for a response. This perl script generates a calender in month overview. It can output PostScript documents or PNG images. Events from an ical file are optionally imported and printed. Events can be colored by categories or event name. Multiple day events are drawn in a continous box.

I developed this for PBS as a quick way to display local station events. This app uses the iCal standard, but in an XML format (xCal) with a MySQL and perl backend. You can import xCal events from an .xsc file to MySQL. Uses XML/XSL/XSLT.

This program is a perl CGI script that accesses Address and Datebook PDB files (via Palm::PDB). It is intended for a home or office LAN. It basically publishes the information stored in the PDB files so that anyone on the LAN (e.g. my wife) can view it.
