PMC is an open project that aims to build the quality permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) controller for use in a variety of scopes like RC or electric transport.
Project:
A micro-controlled circuit takes over the servos of a RC car. Several sensors detect the presence of obstacles in the near range. The car maneuvers to keep clear from all obstacles.
Objective:
- Build-up some knowledge about robotics
- Integrate existing components rather than develop them.
Logical architecture:
Project has several layers, each aiming to a higher level of abstraction:
- Level one: The servo control and the sensor reading
Robot controller and related software written for competition, experiments, and protyping on FIRST Robotics Team 1011, "Team CRUSH". Written in C for the IFI 2004 or newer FRC and/or ECU-RC controllers. Includes main code and device specific code.
This project implements an On Screen Display for FPV (First Person View) for RC planes. Sends telemetry data from GPS & sensors embebed with video information.

Servo-Trim uses an Atmel ATtiny2313 microcontroller to apply a nonlinear transfer function to standard RC-component signals. Used e.g. between receiver and servo.
XcopterSim is intended to become a system design environment for a RC-QuadroCopter. The airborne software is written in C++ for POSIX systems. The simulation is implemented with OpenModelica.
