You can save the extracted text also into text files, Word docs, csv's and rtf format. Browse for PDF's from the web, save them and strip them. Good for students, lecturers, theses and educational purposes. Some bugs yet to fix in the coming weeks, although these do not effect the functionality of the application. Wiki and documentation on the way as well, plus lots of features in backlog to release.

TextTools is a freeware corpus linguistics tool developed in Python to aid in research. This program analyzes user-created corpora and displays information about word (token) frequency, n-grams, clusters, collocations, keyword in context (KWIC), and keyness. TextTools is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive and will run natively on Mac OS X.

This project is ANDS (Australian National Data Service) funded and aims to provide a mechanism for researchers within the University of Western Australia to upload research datasets to a central petastore. It also aims to publish metadata about the datasets to RDA (Research Data Australia) so that the datasets can be discovered (and potentially shared) by searching or browsing through the ANDS website. In order to accomplish the above functionality, this project used the following open source code and customised it as necessary. - Vivo (configured for UWA but no code changes) - DSpace (significantly customised) - iDrop upload tool (significantly customised) - JDownloadManager (again, significantly customised) The package in this SourceForge project contains our customised version of DSpace, iDrop and JDownloadManager. In our solution iDrop and JDownload manager are modified to interface with DSpace and do not operate on their own. For backend storage we are using iRods.

This toolbox contains a set of Python procedures in order to compute examples associated with the computation of Realizable Sign Conditions (RiSC) due to the approach by Basu, Pollack and Roy. The RiSC approach is a way to solve and analyze systems of polynomial equations and inequalities over the real numbers in the field of real-algebraic geometry. The involved computations often consist of highly sophisticated notions, not easy to illustrate by hand. VisualRiSC provides implementations of such notions and functions using the Python package SymPy, on the one hand, and an interface to Gnuplot in order for a visualization of examples using the Python package Gnuplot.py.

This tool is designed to unpack WDOSX executables into the corresponding WFSE modules. The only executable unpacked during testing was Samsung's HDD utility HUTIL. The source code is included if anyone wants to improve something or fix bugs. I used Visual Studio 2010 for building.

Prototype developed is called WSDis, which stands for Web Services Discovery. WSDis provides Two main menus and two buttons at the main form. Figure 10 shows the main form of WSDis. Button IMPORT imports WSDL files and retrieving their details. Button REGISTER registers acceptable web services.
