Arianne is a multiplayer online engine to develop turn based and real time games, providing a simple way of creating the game server rules and clients like our MORPG Stendhal. Our engine Marauroa uses Java and SQL for hosting hundreds of players on a solo host. Stendhal is a fun friendly and free multiplayer online adventure game with a huge and rich world. With hundreds of NPCs and different quests, features like the Travel log and achievement system keep track of progress. Thousands of creatures are ready to fight, above and below ground, and as players level up they can compare themselves on a detailed stats website. The engine Marauroa provides a simple way of creating games on a portable and robust server architecture. Marauroa manages the client server communication and provides an object orientated view of the world for game developers. It handles database access in a transparent way to store player accounts, character progress and the state of the world

openage is a free cross-platform RTS game engine that provides the mechanics of Age of Empires. Using modern technologies as C++17, OpenGL/GLSL, Python, Qt5 and CMake allows people using GNU/Linux, BSD, macOS or Windows to play the game natively. Our aim is to make openage a platform for the original Age of Empires games providing the same look and feel, but with more features for modding and multiplayer. openage uses an open API powered by our human-readable configuration language nyan. We implement a client-server architecture with dedicated servers that supports more than 8 players. The overarching system will provide matchmaking, lobbies, server discovery and other community features. openage is a community project that values every contribution, the only requirement is your enthusiasm. The Python/Tk Empire Interface is a graphical front end to the Wolfpack Empire server (www.wolfpackempire.com). Ptkei (the client's nickname) provides a powerful graphics based interface to what would otherwise be a purely terminal based game. This client functions solely as a client. In order to use this program effectively one must be familiar with Empire. Python is a very high-level interpretive programming language. Ptkei uses this language (and its interface to Tcl/Tk) to provide a flexible, portable, and fast interface. Thanks to the developers, contributors and maintainers of PTkEI. Ptkei 1.18.1 was released on September 07, 2003. I have updated the client so it is compatible with the 4.3.XX Empire Server. PTkEI 2.00.0 is now available!
