This project will enable anyone with a Raspberry Pi to get a visual representation of Radio Frequencies (RF), using Software Defined Radio (SDR) principles - all this contained in a compressed 8Gb microSD card image, ready to run. There is Raspberry Pi image for using Realtek based USB Tv tuner as Software Defined Radio scanner. As a bonus - there is a stripped down version of Raspbian before all of the SDR software was installed and configured. Instructions on how to do it manually are also available. I only take credit for writing down the instructions, creating and uploading the img files. I modified the original code to make it functional on a wide range of devices, not just a TFT. The process was tested on a Toshiba laptop first, running debian, then on a Raspberry Pi 2 - from which the images were created. All other credit is WELL deserved by the original citizens that wrote the software used in this project. -

AnyPixel.js is an open-source software and hardware library that makes it possible to use the web to create big, unusual, interactive displays. Anyone can fork the code and the schematics to create their own display at any scale. The first display using this platform is in the 8th Avenue lobby at the Google NYC office. To create this installation, we used 5880 off-the-shelf arcade buttons with LEDs inside them as our pixels. AnyPixel.js’ straightforward hardware/software framework makes it easy to build any display where each pixel is an interactive element. We've included 12 example apps written by Googlers and friends for the 8th Avenue lobby display in NYC. To check them out, install the previewer and run one of the examples. This project turns edge devices such as Raspberry Pi into an intelligent gateway with deep learning running on it. No internet connection is required, everything is done locally on the edge device itself. Further, multiple edge devices can create a distributed AIoT network. At DT42, we believe that bringing deep learning to edge devices is the trend towards the future. It not only saves costs of data transmission and storage but also makes devices able to respond according to the events shown in the images or videos without connecting to the cloud. One of the applications of this intelligent gateway is to use the camera to monitor the place you care about. For example, Figure 3 shows the analyzed results from the camera hosted in the DT42 office. The frames were captured by the IP camera and they were submitted into the AI engine. The output from the AI engine will be shown in the dashboard. -

Basically all this is is a way for people to get online easier using a text-based setup wizard on a modified 1.6 Dreampi distro. I'm not the creator of the actual Dreampi distro bundled with this software. I have donated to him to support him and you should as well! No license, so do whatever you feel like doing with it.
