    FTLDNS

    FTLDNS

    The Pi-hole FTL engine

Network-wide ad blocking via your own Linux hardware. FTLDNS (pihole-FTL) provides an interactive API and also generates statistics for Pi-hole®'s Web interface. Fast, stats are read directly from memory by coupling our codebase closely with dnsmasq. Versatile, upstream changes to dnsmasq can quickly be merged in without much conflict. Lightweight, runs smoothly with minimal hardware and software requirements such as Raspberry Pi Zero. Interactive, our API can be used to interface with your projects. Insightful: stats normally reserved inside of dnsmasq are made available so you can see what's really happening on your network. Network-level blocking allows you to block ads in non-traditional places such as mobile apps and smart TVs, regardless of hardware or OS.

    SmartDNS

    SmartDNS

Local DNS server to obtain the fastest website IP

SmartDNS is a local DNS server. SmartDNS accepts DNS query requests from local clients, obtains DNS query results from multiple upstream DNS servers, and returns the results with the fastest access speed to clients, improving network access speed. At the same time, it supports the designation of specific domain name IP addresses, and high-quality matching to achieve the effect of filtering advertisements. Different from all-servers of dnsmasq, smartdns returns the resolution results with the fastest access speed. Supports Raspberry Pi, openwrt, ASUS router, windows and other devices. Supports domain name suffix matching mode, simplify filtering configuration, filter 200,000 records in less than 1ms. Supports domain name shunting, different types of domain names are queried to different DNS servers. Support standard Linux system (Raspberry Pi), various firmware of openwrt system, and native firmware of ASUS router. And support for Windows 10 WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux).

    TFT_eSPI

    TFT_eSPI

Arduino and PlatformIO IDE compatible TFT library

An Arduino IDE compatible graphics and fonts library for 32-bit processors. The library is targeted at 32-bit processors, it has been performance-optimized for STM32, ESP8266 and ESP32 types. The library can be loaded using the Arduino IDE's Library Manager. Direct Memory Access (DMA) can be used with the ESP32, RP2040, and STM32 processors to improve rendering performance. "Four wire" SPI and 8 bit parallel interfaces are supported. Due to the lack of GPIO pins, the 8-bit parallel interface is NOT supported on the ESP8266. 8 bit parallel interface TFTs (e.g. UNO format mcufriend shields) can use with the STM32 Nucleo 64/144 range or the UNO format ESP32. ILI9341 and ST7796 SPI-based displays are recommended as starting points for experimenting with this library. The library supports some TFT displays designed for the Raspberry Pi (RPi) that are based on a ILI9486 or ST7796 driver chip with a 480 x 320-pixel screen.

    OpenRemote

    OpenRemote

Open Source for Internet of Things

An Open Community in the Home Automation and Domotics space. We believe an Open Source approach can revolutionize the way people create, install, and maintain software in the industry. Our panel technology integrates with your favorite protocol and runtime hardware through Open Source software. We open up the front-end and support a unified panel and visual programming model. An installer can pick and choose hardware products from different vendors and still present one panel UI to the user. A proprietary hardware vendor can build modern panel support and integrate with existing vendors. Whether you are a DIY aficionado, a high-end installer, a hardware vendor or integrator, OpenRemote has something for you. We want to make OpenRemote the standard for commercial and hobbyist integration alike. We allow any integrator or vendor to write plug-ins and bring innovative tools that simplify the work of an installer and the relationship with the client.

    plutoemail

    plutoemail

Email reader for RISC OS operating system.

Pluto is an email and newsgroup reader for the RISC OS operating system (see https://www.riscosopen.org/), developed by Jonathan Duddington from 1997 to 2004. It stores emails and news articles in Boxes, and they can be Listed, Viewed, Written, Spell checked, Replied to, Searched and even Spoken out loud! After Pluto was released under GPLv3 here on SourceForge in 2013, it has had many improvements. Pluto runs on any version of RISC OS later than v3.10, including RISC OS 5 computers such as the Raspberry Pi, BeagleBoard, IGEPv5, Iyonix, PandaBoard, Wandboard, PineA64 and Titanium as well as the older Risc PC and Archimedes series. From v3.16 onwards the RISC OS version of eSpeak is not included in the Pluto download, but separately in the Files espeak directory. The espeak project itself is on https://espeak.sourceforge.net/ but seems currently dormant. For full details of all updates since v3.06b, please see the Pluto Web Site on http://www.avisoft.f9.co.uk/pluto/

    openGalaxy

    openGalaxy

SIA receiver for Galaxy security control panels.

This project aims to provide a method for listening on a serial port and decode incoming messages from a Galaxy security control panel. The messages are transmitted using the SIA DC-03-1990.01 (R2000.11) protocol. The decoded messages are stored in a database (MySQL) or forwarded by email using ssmtp. Besides just listening for messages openGalaxy can also be used to arm/disarm the panel and much more... This software is still in a testing (beta) phase but has been tested successfully with the following security control panels made by Microtech / Honeywell Security: - Galaxy 18 (Dutch firmware v1.25) with external RS232 box - Galaxy 60 (Dutch firmware v1.07) with external RS232 box - Galaxy G3-520 (Dutch firmware v5.50) (internal RS232)

AEBL Mobile Media Player, changing how we consume media. AEBL is a media player and a digital media platform in use in the IHDN XPO network media system ( http://www.ihdn.ca/Xpo_VI.html ). AEBL is foremost a mobile media distribution and playback framework. It was created to be the core technology that is used in a television ad insertion and digital sign, and further development has opened up many more applications. It currently is designed to run on a raspberry Pi, although it is being ported to other systems. The AEBL blog is located here: http://aeblm2.blogspot.ca/ For those interested in trying it out, you will need a Raspberry Pi (should be the B series with 512MB) and a SD card (4GB or higher, recommend base 8GB but the larger, the better, for content storage). The current image is a ~680MB 7zip compressed file of it's original 2.7GB size, located on dropbox, here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lj0r6yia4tsnz8w/140815-aeblpi.img.7z?dl=0

    AnyPixel.js

    AnyPixel.js

A web-friendly way for anyone to build unusual displays

AnyPixel.js is an open-source software and hardware library that makes it possible to use the web to create big, unusual, interactive displays. Anyone can fork the code and the schematics to create their own display at any scale. The first display using this platform is in the 8th Avenue lobby at the Google NYC office. To create this installation, we used 5880 off-the-shelf arcade buttons with LEDs inside them as our pixels. AnyPixel.js’ straightforward hardware/software framework makes it easy to build any display where each pixel is an interactive element. We've included 12 example apps written by Googlers and friends for the 8th Avenue lobby display in NYC. To check them out, install the previewer and run one of the examples. Building your own app is easy with the Anypixel framework. To get started, check out the framework documentation and the example app.
