    statsmodels

    statsmodels

Statsmodels, statistical modeling and econometrics in Python

statsmodels is a Python module that provides classes and functions for the estimation of many different statistical models, as well as for conducting statistical tests, and statistical data exploration. An extensive list of result statistics are available for each estimator. The results are tested against existing statistical packages to ensure that they are correct. The package is released under the open source Modified BSD (3-clause) license. Generalized linear models with support for all...

    Recommenders

    Recommenders

    Best practices on recommendation systems

The Recommenders repository provides examples and best practices for building recommendation systems, provided as Jupyter notebooks. The module reco_utils contains functions to simplify common tasks used when developing and evaluating recommender systems. Several utilities are provided in reco_utils to support common tasks such as loading datasets in the format expected by different algorithms, evaluating model outputs, and splitting training/test data. Implementations of several...

    BioXTAS RAW

    BioXTAS RAW

Processing and analysis of Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) data.

...The software enables: creation of 1D scattering profiles from 2D detector images, standard data operations such as averaging and subtraction, analysis of radius of gyration (Rg) and molecular weight, and advanced analysis using GNOM and DAMMIF as well as electron density reconstructions using DENSS. It also allows easy processing of inline SEC-SAXS data and data deconvolution using the evolving factor analysis (EFA) or the regularized alternating least squares (REGALS) methods. Active source code is now maintained on github: https://github.com/jbhopkins/bioxtasraw To install: Check the instructions available at: http://bioxtas-raw.readthedocs.io/en/latest/install.html and in the Files tab. User guides: RAW guides are available at: http://bioxtas-raw.readthedocs.io/ and in the Files tab. ...

    FreeSEM

Free and open-source desktop application designed for SEM

...It allows users to visually build models using a drag-and-drop interface to create path diagrams and analyze relationships between observed and latent variables. The software supports methods such as exploratory factor analysis, covariance-based SEM, partial least squares SEM, and meta-SEM, and it provides model fit statistics like CFI, TLI, RMSEA, SRMR, and chi-square to evaluate models. It also enables exporting analysis results and reports to formats like Word, Excel, CSV, and PDF, making it useful for academic research and data analysis workflows.

    FilterPy

    FilterPy

Python Kalman filtering and optimal estimation library

FilterPy is a Python library for Kalman filtering and related state-estimation methods. It implements standard, extended, and unscented Kalman filters, along with Kalman smoothers. The package also includes particle filters, least-squares filters, fading-memory filters, g-h filters, discrete Bayes methods, and H-infinity tools. Its code favors readability and close correspondence with the underlying equations. NumPy and SciPy handle the numerical work, with Matplotlib commonly used for visualization. The library accompanies the book Kalman and Bayesian Filters in Python and is useful for learning, prototyping, tracking, navigation, and estimation experiments.

    LWPR

    Locally Weighted Projection Regression (LWPR)

...At its core, it uses locally linear models, spanned by a small number of univariate regressions in selected directions in input space. A locally weighted variant of Partial Least Squares (PLS) is employed for doing the dimensionality reduction.
