    ProximityForest

Efficient Approximate Nearest Neighbors for General Metric Spaces

A proximity forest is a data structure that allows for efficient computation of approximate nearest neighbors of arbitrary data elements in a metric space. See: O'Hara and Draper, "Are You Using the Right Approximate Nearest Neighbor Algorithm?", WACV 2013 (best student paper award). One application of a ProximityForest is given in the following CVPR publication: Stephen O'Hara and Bruce A. Draper, "Scalable Action Recognition with a Subspace Forest," IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2012. This source code is provided without warranty and is available under the GPL license. ...

    Language Constructor

Complete tool for constructing/manipulating languages in digital form

With this tool you can easily design a new language, digitize an existing one or incrementally reconstruct an ancient language. It allows for free experimentation of all aspects of the language, so it does not have to be made consistent on paper first. You can edit script, syntax, grammar, morphology, lexicon and phonology, as well as write documents in the language, as it might be too complex to be handled by current font technology. The information is stored in xml format for easy integration with other software.

    Motion Graphs in Blender

A Blender 2.6+ addon that aims to implement Motion Graphs

This add-on demonstrates how motion graphs can be created in Blender in order to create a variety of arbitrary length character animations from a small set of character motions. This add-on implements motion graphs as described in Motion Graphs paper by Kovar, Gleicher, and Pighin from SIGGRAPH 2002. The add-on can import set of motion captured BVH files and construct a motion graph based on some given parameters. This motion graph can be stored in memory and used until Blender is running, or can be baked to a file in a compact format so that it can be retrieved later without the need of re-computation. ...
