Cell Defender
A mobile tower 3D tower defense/defend the flag game
This simple little game is like few others. It's a surivial game with few rules. 1. Defend the center square from the invading robots! 2. You can only the "Colored" Defender units to do so. 3. Let 10 Robots in and your game is over! 4. No end survive and rack up as many points as you can! This project uses Python-Ogre, a wrapper for the original Ogre 3D. FineSplice
Enhanced splice junction detection and estimation from RNA-Seq data
...Following alignment with TopHat2 using known transcript annotations, FineSplice takes as input the resulting BAM file and outputs a confident set of expressed splice junctions with the corresponding read counts. Potential false positives arising from spurious alignments are filtered out via a semi-supervised anomaly detection strategy based on logistic regression. Multiple mapping reads with a unique location after filtering are rescued and reallocated to the most reliable candidate location. The end-goal is a deep, complex tactical turn-based RPG. The main inspirations are the Final Fantasy Tactics series and Tactics Ogre, with plenty of room for innovation. Currently, we are implementing weapons, items, and spells into the battle framework, and soon to come will be the core RPG mechanics, AI, and self-contained missions.
