    gattai

Cross-platform software dependency build and installation tool

gattai is a cross-platform system for pulling a bunch of dependencies, patching and building them and/or downloading binary packages, and then installing them in a central location. It aims to enable software projects to fully automate build environment setup. gattai is not a replacement for other systems like apt-get, and in fact, it will have the ability to use apt-get when running on a system that supports it. Rather, it aims to both allow an apt-get like setup process on environments that do not support apt-get, and also to allow the ability to set up isolated environments for those that need that.

They have since then evolved into a general-purpose tool for binary program testing, profiling, and security restriction. The sandbox libraries are currently maintained by the OpenJudge Alliance (http://openjudge.net/) as a standalone, open-source project to facilitate various assignment grading solutions for IT/CS education. See project page at https://github.com/openjudge/sandbox for details.

    Fix Skype

Fix Skype fixes future timestamps in the Skype messages database.

Fix Skype is a python script and Win32 binary that is used to fix "future" timestamps in the Skype message database, such as those caused by the end of DST or by dual-booting a Linux system with time set to UTC from anywhere west of GMT. Essentially, you feed it your username and the number of hours by which some timestamps are in the future, and it subtracts that amount of time from any timestamp greater than "now".
