    Classic HWUT

Software Unit Tests (Language Independent Approach)

...The flexible approach enables the inclusion of many types of tests, such as memory leak checks (using valgrind), coding rule checks, complexity checks, etc. Tests are run by a simple call to hwut in a base directory of a project. In particular for C, HWUT supports make file generation using 'sos' and 'sols' modes. Remote control-able function stubs may be generated using the 'stub' mode. Test cases can be generated using the 'gen' mode, and state machine walkers by the 'sm_walker' mode. Over the last decade HWUT has matured towards a full fledged unit test tool for a wide variety of applications.

    Emb-GAM

    Emb-GAM

An interpretable and efficient predictor using pre-trained models

...In this work, we aim to bridge this gap by using pre-trained neural language models to extract embeddings for each input before learning a linear model in the embedding space. The final model (which we call Emb-GAM) is a transparent, linear function of its input features and feature interactions. Leveraging the language model allows Emb-GAM to learn far fewer linear coefficients, model larger interactions, and generalize well to novel inputs. Across a variety of natural-language-processing datasets, Emb-GAM achieves strong prediction performance without sacrificing interpretability.

    min(DALL·E)

    min(DALL·E)

min(DALL·E) is a fast, minimal port of DALL·E Mini to PyTorch

...Set the dtype to torch.float16 to save GPU memory. If you have an Ampere architecture GPU you can use torch.bfloat16. Set the device to either cuda or "cpu". Once everything has finished initializing, call generate_image with some text as many times as you want. Use a positive seed for reproducible results. Higher values for supercondition_factor result in better agreement with the text but a narrower variety of generated images. Every image token is sampled from the top_k most probable tokens. The largest logit is subtracted from the logits to avoid infs. ...

    Spyne

    Spyne

A transport agnostic sync/async RPC library

...It integrates with popular Python web frameworks as well as libraries like SQLAlchemy to keep your code as DRY as possible. Spyne aims to save the protocol implementers the hassle of implementing their own remote procedure call api and the application programmers the hassle of jumping through hoops just to expose their services using multiple protocols and transports. In other words, Spyne is a framework for building distributed solutions that strictly follow the MVC pattern, where Model = spyne.model, View = spyne.protocol and Controller = user code. Spyne comes with the implementations of popular transport, protocol and interface document standards along with a well-defined API that lets you build on existing functionality.

    VoiceFixer

    VoiceFixer

    General Speech Restoration

...Unlike many single-purpose noise reduction tools, VoiceFixer targets a “general speech restoration” problem (GSR), capable of handling multiple types of distortions at once, which makes it suitable for old recordings, phone-call audio, amateur voice recordings, or archival media. Evaluations show that VoiceFixer significantly improves both objective and subjective audio quality compared to baseline speech-enhancement methods.

    Summarization, translation, sentiment-analysis, text-generation, etc.

...The simplest way to get started for generation is to use the default pre-trained version of T5 on ONNX included in the package. Please note that the first time you call get_encoder_decoder_tokenizer, the models are being downloaded which might take a minute or two. Other tasks just require to change the prefix in your prompt, for instance for summarization. Pinject

    Pinject

    A pythonic dependency injection library

Pinject is a lightweight dependency-injection library for Python that favors explicit wiring and testability over magic. Instead of global singletons, you declare providers (bindings) that describe how to construct objects, and Pinject resolves the graph by inspecting call signatures. Its container supports constructor injection and fine-grained scoping so you can share expensive resources while keeping tests isolated. The library leans on Python’s introspection to minimize boilerplate, making it natural to adopt in codebases that already rely on type hints or keyword arguments. Because bindings are just Python functions and classes, refactoring remains straightforward and the DI graph is easy to reason about. ...
