    Pyringe

    Pyringe

Debugger capable of attaching to and injecting code into python

...It’s also useful for forensic snapshots: enumerate objects of a certain type, find reference cycles, or measure memory pressure without pre-instrumentation. While powerful, it’s designed for careful, auditable use—showing exactly what code runs and where—so teams can regain visibility when black-box processes go sideways.

    Rogue

    Rogue

An adventure "Legend of Zelda"-ish game

For now, a simple python/pygame game that is needing of heavy development. I am working alone (so far) on this project, so it will be very slow. Please be patient, for this is not what the game will be like in the end. This is just me giving a sneak peak at something much nicer to come. And as I said before, I am so far alone and a bit of a novice in this project, so please be patient: I hope to make better things with it. Update: I have a new homepage up. Mostly complete right now, I just need to update the python tab.

    EducationalLCS

eLCS - Educational Learning Classifier System

...Each eLCS implementations (from demo 2 up to demo 6) progressively add major components of the entire LCS algorithm in order to illustrate how work, how they are coded, and what impact they have on how an LCS algorithm runs. The Demo 6 version of eLCS is most similar to the UCS algorithm. Each version only includes the minimum code needed to perform the functions they were designed for. This way users can start by examining the simplest version of the code and progress forward. This code is intended to be used as an educational tool, or as algorithmic code building blocks.

PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime

Threshold-based alerts flag problems early, so your team can act before users notice, not after.

Reactive troubleshooting usually means hearing about a problem from frustrated users, not your monitoring tool. PRTG sets threshold-based alerts across devices, servers and applications, notifying your team by email, SMS or push the moment a metric crosses a set limit. That means catching a failing disk or overloaded server before it becomes an outage and getting time back from firefighting. Start a free trial and set your first alerts today.

    Jython Simple Dialogs

Simple UI Dialog boxes much like 'zenity' project for jython

I have wanted very simple dialog box implementation for asking user questions, such as what is intended by the 'zenity' (or previous XDialog) type of interfaces. After looking at options I settled on using swing based UI components and it is based on the information available from: https://wiki.python.org/jython/SwingExamples The specific use of this code is targeted to user inputs for simple activities and it appears as if there isn't any single 'aggregator' and I tried to provide this functionality. ...

Automated reporting of Geiger Muller counter readings to RadMon.org

...Homeland Security Council lists the "Detonation of a 10 Megaton Improvised Nuclear Device" as "Scenario #1" among the top 15 threats to American security. Or, if you do not believe that a nuclear bomb is likely, what about all the Chernobyl-style Soviet-era nuclear power stations still in service? The point is: let us work together as free people to jointly report and track radiation levels around the globe. Information is power--and more importantly, information can save lives. CDPOPgui is a GUI Frontend for CDPOP What is CDPOP? CDPOP (Cost Distance POPulations) is a spatially-explicit simulator of gene-flow in complex landscapes to explain observed population responses and provide a foundation for landscape genetics. Academic Web Watch

    Academic Web Watch

Controls a selection of web robots for monitoring web sites.

AWW controls a selection of web robots, that collect information about how web sites change over time. It stores this information, and can export it in various ways. The included robots are few and simple, but it is easy to include more, depending on what information should be collected. AWW is mainly a control centre, that executes tasks, and stores the results. Initially the goal is not to provide a lot of functionality, but rather to make something that is easily extendible. The project was created by the Sourceforge user fivecode, to be used in his master project at the University of Oslo.

    indicator-hosts-up

    indicator-hosts-up

Panel Indicator to interact and monitor hosts

It is an easy and handy way for home or small offices where nowadays we have many hosts (pcs, routers, smartphones, NAS, media centers, wi-fi intruders, etc) and we want to know what is up and interact with them. This was born as many others from my need to turn on/off a computer in another room or see what is up before going to bed or be alerted by some intrusion in my local net via wi-fi. It needs a lot of improvements and I hope the community can help. New hosts are discovered via /etc/hosts and nmap but can be added manually too.

    PygameFrame

    Python/Pygame Game-Building Framework

...This package was originally known as "Santo's Pygame Template", but I've renamed it to "PygameFrame" since. This is merely a skeleton to build a game from; and being open-source, you are encouraged to do what you need to it to build your game, with the speed and finesse provided for your re-tooling. The main file, "game.py", runs the whole game. Everything in the DIR_data directory are the components to the system. Look in each one to see how they work. Thank you in advance for checking this out!

Fundamentally, LifeQuest keeps track of what you need to do, and tells you what you need to do next. Unlike other ToDo list programs, LifeQuest aims to minimise the amount of effort you spend entering information. LifeQuest is also inspired by GTD contexts and projects to help you find things to do wherever you are or whichever project you want to focus on. ...

Import and Export EPAFs to Ellucian/SunGard Banner

This application allows bulk import and exports between Banner EPAFs and Excel spreadsheets. Despite what your sales rep told you, doing EPAFs in Excel and then importing them into Banner is no easy task. Each EPAF can have a variable number of rows in variable number of tables and transaction numbers must be carefully kept in sync among all of these rows and records. WindEPAF takes this difficult and error-prone process and makes it easy.

Cross platform darknet written in python

TacoNET is an open-source, Friend 2 Friend, cross platform, encrypted Darknet written in python. Currently in Alpha, it's functional, but nowhere near what it will be. There will be gui weirdness, useless error messages, spelling/grammer mistakes, and of course some features may not work 100% in all cases. This will, of course, improve over time. Game of Turmites

Conway's Game of Life and Turmites Combined!

...I'll consider putting some in later. I had been wanting to make the Game of Life for some time as well as make some kind of genetic algorithm based code. So, here is what I came up with. While this may just seem like simplify a graphical display of what boredom looks like... well, it really doesn't go much past that point. If you Don't know what Conway's game of life is: It's the Black (Or white, I may have changed them) cells that follow a simple set of instructions based on the state of its adjacent cells. ...

Send steganographed text messages to mtr with fake hops in the network

Steganoroute is a tool to send steganographed text messages to another computer over the network. The receiver must make a traceroute to the sender using the mtr program (and pressing 'd' once to switch the display mode to the continuous graph). This tool, the sender, creates several fake hops and makes them answer the ICMP packets (or not) to write the letters one by one on the mtr client screen.
