blavaan
An R package for Bayesian structural equation modeling
blavaan is a free, open-source R package for Bayesian latent variable analysis. It relies on JAGS and Stan to estimate models via MCMC. The blavaan functions and syntax are similar to lavaan. The development version of blavaan (containing updates not yet on CRAN) can be installed via the command provided in the documentation. Compilation is required; this may be a problem for users who currently rely on a binary version of blavaan from CRAN. The blavaan package depends on the lavaan package for model specification and for some computations. This means that, if you already know lavaan, then you should already be able to do many things in blavaan. In particular, many blavaan commands add the letter “b” to the start of the lavaan command. It is also sometimes possible to use a lavaan command on a blavaan object, though the results may not always be what you expect. -

The "mature" data is in json sequence format and can be modeled by XKT and TKT(TBA) The analysis dataset tool only supports the json sequence format. To check the following statical indexes of the dataset. In order to better verify the effectiveness of the model, the dataset is usually divided into train/valid/test or using kfold method. Each item in the sequence represents one interaction. The first element of the item is the exercise id (in some works, the exercise id is not one-to-one mapped to one knowledge unit(ku)/concept, but in junyi, one exercise contains one ku) and the second one indicates whether the learner correctly answers the exercise, 0 for wrongly while 1 for correctly. -

The psychmeta package provides tools for computing bare-bones and psychometric meta-analyses and for generating psychometric data for use in meta-analysis simulations. Currently, the package supports bare-bones, individual-correction, and artifact-distribution methods for meta-analyzing correlations and d values. Enhance useful field of view, speed of responsiveness, brain exerciser
Python and pygame cross platform program to exercise the brain with the intention of enhancing useful field of view, also known as speed of responsiveness. This yields benefits in driving, motility, and even depressive symptoms, as described in research papers of randomized, double blind trials. Whether ufov exercise the brain to yield those benefits is unknown, since there are no research studies using it. The research is conducted with a commercial product that I have not seen or used. I used the description of what useful field of view is supposed to do to create this program for experimental purposes. I notice personal changes from using the program, but that is only anecdotal evidence. I was especially struck by the research that found a significant decrease in dementia for those who used such a program to exercise their brain. Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents
For the purpose of policy simulation in coupled social-ecological systems (e.g. energy supply), a credible modelling of actors – especially citizens – and their decision processes is needed. This requires a framework capable of handling high numbers of heterogeneous agents (several hundreds of thousands). LARA (Lightweight Architecture for boundedly Rational Agents) meets these requirements and fills the gap between frameworks without built-in psychological foundations and full-fledged cognitive architectures which are both not viable options in this context. LARA provides prefabricated components of an agent’s decision process like perception, memory, and different modes of decision making. These components are psychologically plausible, i.e. based on appropriate psychological results and theories. Moreover, interfaces for basic learning and social influence are available. -

WIttgen is a two-instruction programming language modeled on the mind.
The Wittgen programming language consists of just two instructions and one special variable name. Wittgen allows you to assign any text string to a variable of any name. It also allows you to retrieve the text assigned to that variable. Lastly, it has a special variable called “Doing Now”. Every execution step consists of retrieving the contents of Doing Now, removing the first assign found in that content and performing that assign. In the course of performing that assign any retrieve operations indicated in the text are performed before committing the assign. That is all there the system does. The driving motivation for this design is that as far as we know, the human mind supports these two instructions.It may have additional mechanisms that create new assigns, but using the results of these mechanisms requires a system built from these instructions. -

Cognitive diagnosis model (CDM) for intelligent educational systems is a type of model that infers students' knowledge states from their learning behaviors (especially exercise response logs). Typically, the input of a CDM could be the students' response logs of items (i.e., exercises/questions), the Q-matrix that denotes the correlation between items and knowledge concepts (skills). The output is the diagnosed student knowledge states, such as students' abilities and students' proficiencies on each knowledge concepts. -
