RSS Guard is a simple RSS/ATOM feed reader for Windows, Linux, BSD, OS/2 or macOS which can work with RSS/ATOM/JSON/iCalendar/Sitemap feeds as well as many online feed services. RSS Guard is also a podcast player as it can play everything via its built-in mpv-based (or ffmpeg-based) media player.

Podcastfy is an open-source Python package that transforms multi-modal content (text, images) into engaging, multi-lingual audio conversations using GenAI. Input content includes websites, PDFs, youtube videos as well as images. Podcast Generator is an open source Content Management System written in PHP and specifically designed for podcast publishing. It provides the user with the tools to easily manage all of the aspects related to the publication of a podcast, from the upload of episodes to its submission to the iTunes store.

Podget is a simple podcast aggregator optimized for running as a scheduled background job (i.e. cron), with support for categories & folders, importing servers from OPML lists & iTunes PCAST files, exporting an OPML file, automatic playlist creation and cleanup. Updated in Version 0.8 on June5, 2016 to include support for ATOM feeds in additions to RSS feeds. As of Nov 9, 2015 the CVS hosted by Sourceforge will no longer be updated. The last version to be uploaded into the CVS was version 0.7.9.
