    Fosite - advection problem solver

numerical simulation code for solving transport equations in 1D/2D/3D

Fosite is a generic framework for the numerical solution of hyperbolic conservation laws in generalized orthogonal coordinates. Its main purpose is the simulation of compressible flows in accretion disks. The underlying numerical solution method belongs to the family of unsplit conservative finite volume TVD schemes. The method is 2nd order accurate in space and uses high order Runge-Kutta and multistep schemes for time evolution. In addition to the pure advection code several source terms...

    PY-Nodes

Code for finding nodes in a material using first-principle approach.

...The algorithm of the code is based on the Nelder-Mead’s function-minimization approach. The code minimizes the function f(k), which is defined as sum of the absolute energy difference of the adjacent pairs of bands at a given k-point. Please cite the paper mentioned below while using the PY-Nodes code for your research. V. Pandey and S.K.

    MSU's Sparse Fourier Repository

The Home of DMSFT, AAFFT, GFFT, and MSFFT.

...MSFFT, implemented by David Lawlor and Bosu Choi. This code is fast, but is not terribly easy to use. The algorithm is robust to some noise, but requires a lot of parameter tuning. Enjoy at your own risk :), Mark Iwen

    smartblob

tiny code, html webcam game or plug brain in each blob, java server

...I'm planning a huge multiplayer world, some blobs played by people holding a bendable loop game controller (tape a 1 meter cut of thick extension cord into a loop) in front of webcam and bend it to bend your blob on screen, and other blobs controlled by AI. This is a game for general AI research in a fun way people can do together. The physics and vision algorithm is half working in version 0.3.0. The gameplay is better experienced in 0.2 which is controlled with the mouse so you dont have enough freedom of movement compared to webcam. This small file contains its own source code including occamserver, a tiny general java server I built which I'll adjust to allow http streaming connections to stay open for faster ajax than a new web call each time. ...

    ThermV

    Comprehensive thermal analysis software package

...The modules for peak deconvolution, peak profile analysis and determination of Ea and lnA will be provided first. Full GUI will be provided in beta stage. Due to computational limitations, the code is partly programmed in Python and partly in R. Python code will eventually be fully integrated into GUI. R code might remain standalone, although it will be integrated to a highest possible degree. Distributed under GPL
