For each platform (iOS/Android/Windows) you plan to use, follow one of the options for the corresponding platform. Upgrading this package often requires the font files linked to your projects to be updated as well. If the automatic linking works for you, running this again should update the fonts. You can either use one of the bundled icons supported or roll your own custom font. Since Icon builds on top of the Text component, most style properties will work as expected, you might find it useful to play around with background color, border width, border color, border radius, padding, margin, color, font size, etc. -

PhotoSwipe
JavaScript framework independent image gallery
PhotoSwipe is the first open-source gallery to support JavaScript-based image zooming. Even if a browser’s native zooming has been disabled, image zooming will still work. The gallery’s background will gradually fade out as the user zooms out. When the gesture is complete, the gallery will close. Gesture is added because close button in top right corner might be hard to reach on tall mobile devices while holding in one hand. Images can be changed even when current slide is zoomed. Swiping is not blocked during the transition. PhotoSwipe manipulates the browser’s history so that the user can link to each gallery item and close the gallery via the “back” button. The initial URL is restored when the gallery is closed. PhotoSwipe adds a history record when the gallery is opened, which allows the user to close it via the browser’s “back” button. This feature comes as a module. You can exclude it from the build entirely, or fork it to fit the requirements of your product’s URL structure. -

Bundled GIFLib via JNI is used to render frames. This way should be more efficient than WebView or Movie classes. Current development builds (build from dev branch) are published to OSS snapshot repository. To use them, specify repository URL in repositories block. For Android 4.2+ (API level 17+). Supports GifTextureView hardware-accelerated rendering, and GifTexImage2D OpenGL ES 2.0+. See sample directory. Sample project is under construction. Not all features are covered yet. The simplest way is to use GifImageView (or GifImageButton) like a normal ImageView. If drawables declared by android:src and/or android:background are GIF files then they will be automatically recognized as GifDrawables and animated. If given drawable is not a GIF then mentioned Views work like plain ImageView and ImageButton. GifTextView allows you to use GIFs as compound drawables and background. -

PhotoKit is a photo browser with impressive 3D effects and many slide effects. Features: 3D effects Slide effects (my another project NextEffect). Multi-touch (e.g. on N9) EXIF information. Share images to sina weibo. (for Chinese users) Online images with Google image search. Build debian package (make deb). PhotoKit can not manager photos now, just viewing. It will be possible in the future. The UI of PhotoKit is based on Qt graphics framework (except filedialog), so you will have the same experience on all platforms. On N9, it only supports landscape mode because the limitation of QWidget. At the begining, i just use many QWidget based components, but they are very ugly on Harmattan, so I have to wrote these components using graphics framework, e.g. button, textinput and dialog. Fresco
An Android library for managing images and the memory they use
Fresco’s image pipeline will load images from the network, local storage, or local resources. To save data and CPU, it has three levels of cache; two in memory and another in internal storage. Fresco’s Drawee shows a placeholder for you until the image has loaded and then automatically shows the image when it arrives. When the image goes off-screen, it automatically releases its memory. A decompressed image - an Android Bitmap - takes up a lot of memory. This leads to more frequent runs of the Java garbage collector. This slows apps down. The problem is especially bad without the improvements to the garbage collector made in Android 5.0. On Android 4.x and lower, Fresco puts images in a special region of Android memory. It also makes sure that images are automatically released from memory when they’re no longer shown on screen. This lets your application run faster - and suffer fewer crashes. -

Matisse is a well-designed local image and video selector for Android. If you use Glide as your image engine, add rules as Glide's README says. If you use Picasso as your image engine, add rules as Picasso's README says. There are two built-in themes you can use to start MatisseActivity, which are R.style.Matisse_Zhihu (light mode), and R.style.Matisse_Dracula (dark mode). All images and videos will be shown in Matisse by default, you can't limit the selectable mime types. You can launch Matisse from Activity or Fragment. Meanwhile you should receive results in the corresponding onActivityResult() callback. If you want a fixed span count, you can do it. The span count will stay the same when orientation changes. If you expect a grid size which will be flexible fitting different screens, you can also pull that off. This value won't necessarily be applied cause the photo grid should fill the view container. -

We develop lots of different Android apps at Yalantis, and our experience shows that almost every application we deal with needs image cropping functionality. Image cropping can be used for various purposes, from ordinary adjustment of user profile images to more complex features that involve aspect ratio cropping and flexible image transformations. Since we want to provide all our customers with the best set of tools for image editing functionality, we decided to create uCrop, an image cropping library for Android.
