TIGRE is an open-source toolbox for fast and accurate 3D tomographic reconstruction for any geometry. Its focus is on iterative algorithms for improved image quality that have all been optimized to run on GPUs (including multi-GPUs) for improved speed. It combines the higher-level abstraction of MATLAB or Python with the performance of CUDA at a lower level in order to make it both fast and easy to use. TIGRE is free to download and distribute: use it, modify it, add to it, and share it. Our aim is to provide a wide range of easy-to-use algorithms for the tomographic community "off the shelf". We would like to build a stronger bridge between algorithm developers and imaging researchers/clinicians by encouraging and supporting contributions from both sides to TIGRE. -

Gramm is a MATLAB toolbox that enables the rapid creation of complex, publication-quality figures. Its design philosophy focuses on a declarative approach, where users specify the desired end result, as opposed to the traditional imperative method involving for loops, if/else statements, etc. The MATLAB implementation of gramm is inspired by the "grammar of graphics" principles (Wilkinson 1999) and the ggplot2 library for R by Hadley Wickham. As a reference to this inspiration, gramm stands for GRAMmar of graphics for MATLAB. A similar library called Seaborn also exists for Python. Gramm has been used in many publications from varied fields and is particularily suited for neuroscience, from human movement psychophysics (Morel et al. 2017), to electrophysiology (Morel et al. 2016; Ferrea et al. 2017), human functional imaging (Wan et al. 2017) and animal training (Berger et al. 2017). -

FieldTrip is the MATLAB software toolbox for MEG, EEG and iEEG analysis, which is released free of charge as open source software under the GNU general public license. FieldTrip is developed by members and collaborators of the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition, and Behaviour at Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The toolbox offers advanced analysis methods of MEG, EEG, and invasive electrophysiological data, such as time-frequency analysis, source reconstruction using dipoles, distributed sources and beamformers and non-parametric statistical testing. It supports the data formats of all major MEG systems (CTF, Neuromag/Elekta/Megin, BTi/4D, Yokogawa/Ricoh, FieldLine) and of most popular EEG systems, and new formats can be added easily. FieldTrip contains high-level functions that you can use to construct your own analysis protocols in MATLAB. Furthermore, it easily allows methods researchers to incorporate new methods for EEG/MEG analysis. -

OpenJUMP is a community driven fork of JUMP the "Java Unified Mapping Platform" GIS software. The original JUMP was developed by Vivid Solutions, released under GPL2 in 2003 and discontinued in 2006. During 2004 already some enthusiastic developers joined together to enhance further the features of JUMP. They launched an independent development branch called OpenJUMP. The name gives credit to the original JUMP development, and at the same time describes the objectives of this project to be fully open to anyone wanting to contribute. These days OpenJUMP is developed and maintained by (some few) volunteers around the globe. Robotics Toolbox for MATLAB
This toolbox brings robotics-specific functionality to MATLAB, exploiting the native capabilities of MATLAB (linear algebra, portability, graphics). The Toolbox uses a very general method of representing the kinematics and dynamics of serial-link manipulators as MATLAB® objects – robot objects can be created by the user for any serial-link manipulator and a number of examples are provided for well-known robots from Kinova, Universal Robotics, Rethink as well as classical robots such as the Puma 560 and the Stanford arm. The toolbox also supports mobile robots with functions for robot motion models (unicycle, bicycle), path planning algorithms (bug, distance transform, D*, PRM), kinodynamic planning (lattice, RRT), localization (EKF, particle filter), map building (EKF) and simultaneous localization and mapping (EKF), and a Simulink model a of non-holonomic vehicle. The Toolbox also includes a detailed Simulink model for a quadrotor flying robot. -

Rodent applications is the successor of xffm, the file manager that put XFCE desktop on the map. It also includes several previously XFCE applications (icontheme, difference viewer, search tool, samba navigator) plus some new stuff (applications menu, filesystems in user space, process control, file shredding, file previews and more). In particular, Rodent filemanager is fast, small and powerful file manager which runs in multicore mode. Currently targeted for the GNU or BSD operating systems, a Mingw-w64 version is on the horizon. You should note that Rodent Filemanager is *not* targeted for dummies. Emphasis is on ease of use for the advanced user, not the computer illiterate. Rodent applications are provided as is, with no particular warranty nor purpose. But if these applications are as useful to you as they are to me, you've made my day. Enjoy! -

JSBSim is a multi-platform, general purpose object-oriented Flight Dynamics Model (FDM) written in C++. The FDM is essentially the physics & math model that defines the movement of an aircraft, rocket, etc., under the forces and moments applied to it using the various control mechanisms and from the forces of nature. JSBSim can be run in a standalone batch mode flight simulator (no graphical displays a.k.a. console mode) for testing and study, or integrated with the Unreal engine, FlightGear and many other simulation environments. -

Evolutionary multi-objective optimization platform. PlatEMO consists of a number of MATLAB functions without using any other libraries. Any machines able to run MATLAB can use PlatEMO regardless of the operating system. PlatEMO includes more than ninety existing popular MOEAs, including genetic algorithm, differential evolution, particle swarm optimization, memetic algorithm, estimation of distribution algorithm, and surrogate model-based algorithm. Most of them are representative algorithms published in top journals after 2010. Users can select various figures to be displayed, including the Pareto front of the result, the Pareto set of the result, the true Pareto front, and the evolutionary trajectories of any performance indicator values. PlatEMO provides a powerful and friendly GUI, where users can configure all the settings and perform experiments in parallel via the GUI without writing any code. -
