Portable System for installing many Linux Distros on to a Pen drive
This project provides a Live DVD for the multibootusb program, for installing multiple Linux Distros on to a single Pen drive and able to boot from it. This is a portable system, which does not require any installation. Video Below. This system can be started through the DVD Drive OR VirtualBox (See Below). This .iso file can also be written on to a small dedicated pen drive ( ~ 1 GB ) through this DVD's multibootusb program and further used for writing linux images on to other pen drives ( not on the same ! ) thereby making everything portable. Note: Click "+ Other Locations" on the file manager for opening local disks, while browsing for images to write through this dvd's multibootusb program. Also note that the pen drive needs to be in fat32 format for proper booting. if in other formats, for eg. ntfs, you can use the GParted program that is in this dvd, to reformat it to fat32 ( will cleanup all data ). Starting from the base of MX-Linux 23.6, I have created a Respin of MX-23.6 with Moksha as Windows Manager in its versions of 32 and 64bits with the Kernel 6.1.0-33 of MX-Linux/Debian, adding some programs to complete all the possible uses. The Respin has the Bodhi Linux Moksha 0.4.1, it has the MX-Linux and Bodhi Linux repositories enabled to have the latest Moksha packages, it does not have the Bodhi Linux Software web store, as that would install packages that would take away the charm of MX... Instead it has “MX-Package Installer” with the “Popular Applications” option, the official and test repositories and a Flatpaks program installer. -

ELKS is a subset of the Linux kernel that runs on IBM compatible PCs from 8086 up. It is intended to get use out of obsolete old hardware, for use in embedded systems, and as an educational tool. ELKS has been moved to Github to protest SourceForge's installer adware hijacking. This does not directly affect ELKS, but it does affect many major open source projects such as Gimp and FileZilla by attempting to trick the user into installing adware in order to download these programs.
