About the project: We are trying to translate the man-pages to Hindi language. So far, we have succeeded in translating some of the man-pages from man1 module. There are in total 8 modules of man-pages in Linux and with the inception of our project we have tried our hands-on over converting man-pages from man1 module which is one of the 8 modules of man-pages of Linux. Compressed caching is a new level in the virtual memory hierarchy, where pages are stored in some compressed format, decreasing the number of page faults that are serviced by slow hard disks. We aim to implement this idea in the Linux Kernel.
