    terminal-notifier

    terminal-notifier

Send User Notifications on macOS from the command-line

terminal-notifier is a command-line tool to send macOS User Notifications, which are available on macOS 10.10 and higher. alerter features were merged in terminal-notifier 1.7. This led to some issues and even more issues in the 1.8 release. From now on terminal-notifier won't have the sticky notification feature nor the actions buttons. If you need them please use alerter. Sticking to two smaller specialized tools will hopefully make them easier to maintain and less error prone. It is currently packaged as an application bundle, because NSUserNotification does not work from a ‘Foundation tool’. radar://11956694. ...

    AppDevKit

    AppDevKit

AppDevKit is an iOS development library

...Yahoo’s Taiwan based iOS app development team has been using this development kit for the past three years, and we plan future apps to use AppDevKit as well. Our use of this code in many apps helped improve its stability and utility. We find these libraries help address some incompatibility issues found in different iOS versions, and overall make app development easier and our apps operate more consistently. AppDevKit has five major parts that include command, user interfaces, animations, image view, and list view support libraries. AppDevKit could be installed by CocoaPods. Please feel welcome to use AppDevKit in your iOS projects as it is licensed under the permissive open source BSD license.

PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime

Threshold-based alerts flag problems early, so your team can act before users notice, not after.

Reactive troubleshooting usually means hearing about a problem from frustrated users, not your monitoring tool. PRTG sets threshold-based alerts across devices, servers and applications, notifying your team by email, SMS or push the moment a metric crosses a set limit. That means catching a failing disk or overloaded server before it becomes an outage and getting time back from firefighting. Start a free trial and set your first alerts today.

The process is still not complete so please submit issues and help if possible to minimize future breaking changes.

    iOS9AdaptationTips

    iOS9AdaptationTips

    iOS9 Adaptation Tutorial Series

iOS9AdaptationTips is an iOS development reference project focused on adapting apps to iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 behavior changes. It explains practical compatibility issues that developers faced when Apple introduced stricter networking and platform requirements. A major topic is App Transport Security, including the shift toward HTTPS and TLS 1.2 for network requests. The repository is useful as a historical migration guide for Objective-C and iOS developers maintaining older apps. It collects notes, examples, and adaptation strategies rather than functioning as a single reusable library. ...

IT research and therapy in one piece.

...Computer@Therapy is human computer interaction (HCI) research and therapy in one piece. iOS-Slide-Menu

    iOS-Slide-Menu

iOS Slide Menu with ability to add both left and right menu

If your application supports both landscape and portrait and supports iOS versions below 8, use version 1.4.5. iOS Slide Menu built on top of UINavigationController, with configurable buttons, reveal animations and tap/swiper gesture recognizers. Enabling shouldRecognizeSimultaneouslyWithGestureRecognizer was causing issues, if you are seeing unexpected gesture behavior delete the pod and reinstall as that method has been removed. You decide whether to enable or disable slide functionality on each viewController by implementing the following delegate methods of SlideNavigationControllerDelegate. These methods are optional, and if not implemented the menu functionality will be disabled for that particulat viewController.

    Aspects

    Aspects

Library for aspect oriented programming in Objective-C and Swift

...Aspects automatically deals with calling super and is easier to use than regular method swizzling. Aspects hooks deep into the class hierarchy and creates dynamic subclasses, much like KVO. There's known issues with this approach, and to this date (February 2019) I STRICTLY DO NOT RECOMMEND TO USE Aspects IN PRODUCTION CODE. We use it for partial test mocks in, PSPDFKit, an iOS PDF framework that ships with apps like Dropbox or Evernote, it's also very useful for quickly hacking something up. Aspects uses _objc_msgForward which causes issues with other code that uses message forwarding.
